tbh even though ancient greece was incredibly misogynistic, and sparta discouraged women fighters, i love how nikolaos still taught kass how to fight and how kass was super insistent on becoming a warrior!! i also love how myrrine eventually becomes a politician for sparta and participates in fights herself
