Yeah, I could have… and I should have. It would have been the gentlemanly thing to do and whatnot. Father’s probably side-eyeing the shit out me as we speak. Honestly? Yeah, you can be a little intimidating. You’re smart, you’re beautiful, you don’t take shit off of anybody on either side of the fence… you’re the whole package, Bell. It’s not a bad thing, though. I’d take intimidating over airheaded any day. Think Ashe, whose name rhymes with “rash” which is consequently what I feel like breaking out in every time she opens her mouth.

I would find that funny… if I wasn’t thinking the same thing. It was a toss up between Mathers and Ren for me, but Preston seems pretty taken with him and I don’t want to step on any toes, so I went with the former. It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out either way, though. I’ve been good. A little reclusive lately for some reason, but the Ascot is the perfect excuse for me to get back in the saddle. What about you?

It would have been. I must say I’m just slightly disappointed, you know how much I enjoy a true gentleman in the streets. I guess you’ll just have to make it up to me. I know you can. You’re a big boy. Now you’re just stroking my ego, Hunter darling. Please, feel free to continue. You know you have plenty of strong, admirable qualities yourself. That being one of them. You’re piqued by intellect, and I can so appreciate that. Yes, I saw...All of that. I myself chose to forgo a ticket on the Hot Mess Express, but to each their own I suppose. 

Great minds think alike, in more ways than one. I want to see you again, after. You can come to mine, or I can come to yours. Either way, it’ll be one hell of a party. I may or may not have found a way to....Enhance a few experiences. Magic is a beautiful thing, truly. Ah, yes, I have noticed that myself. Are you not concerned? I, for one, am. We simply cannot afford to go soft on them. We aren’t supposed to fall in love, not with vermin. Mathers is an excellent choice, so much so that I bet on her as well. She’s dedicated. Eager to please. I’m not sure if she possesses that cutthroat quality, but these next few days will test that. She’s one to watch. Reclusive for some reason? My, my. We can’t have that now, can we sweetheart? Yes, it is a wonderful excuse. So is my body. Though, I believe in that particular situation...It’ll be me doing the riding. I’ve been alright. Focusing on my spellwork, mostly. I suppose it would behoove me to poke my head out more as well.

Not too bad at all, you’re quite right about that. You could have approached me, you know. Or am I really just that intimidating?

You may find this funny Hunter dear, but I think the humans might actually have a shot this year. There are a couple of strong ones, from what I understand. Although you never really can tell with these things, can you? How have you been? I haven’t heard from you.

I am pleased to see the announcement of the Ascot, it is one of the yearly activities I enjoy the most. Of course I’ll need to summon something from my closet to wear, as Father so plainly put it, my casual best simply won’t do. Though, that could be an incredibly fun task to watch one of you slaves perform...Yes, I think I’ll do that. I can promise it will be quite the experience. Anyone wishing to come enjoy the show is more than welcome to do so.
