WoLKrileWeek: 2 - Adventure
“Are you sure you know where you’re going?” Krile trudges alongside Lizzy, nearly tripping over a root.
Lizzy thinks for a moment, looks around, and says, “Of course! I was raised by sylphs, in a forest, I’m excellent at navigating forests.” and beams at Krile.
The disarming smile negates further questioning, but only for a little bit, as Krile is positive they passed this root before.
“Uh, Lizzy...I think we’re lost.”
“Nonsense, I know exa-” Lizzy trips over the root that nearly tripped Krile, landing face first in the dirt.
“Oh!” Krile starts to help Lizzy, “Are you ok?”
Lizzy resigns herself to the dirt gods, “Yea, I’m fine, I deserve this I think.”
Krile’s face shifts from concern to a smile, and she giggles for a second, before her echo flares up and she ducks under a lashing vine.
Lizzy springs up, and jumps off a tree, sensing the immediate danger, she lunges forth towards the source of the vine, impaling a morbol with her black mage staff. She backflips off the staff, and throws both of her daggers at the morbol. When she lands, she helps Krile up, and Krile begins painting.
Lizzy pulls out her gunblade, and sprints in, seeing splashes of paint whip by her. A purple splash hits a dagger, and electrifies the morbol. As Lizzy swings her gunblade at it, the electricity funnels through it and zaps Lizzy, sending her flying.
Krile sends a rainbow of paint at the morbol, and as it slumps to the ground, she sprints off to find the flying au ra.
Though it takes more than a couple moments, Krile stumbles on the auri woman, laying in a field of flowers.
No response, she gets closer, “Elizabeth? Are you ok?”
As she leans down, she finds her partner asleep. The slumbering lizard rolls over, grabbing the diminutive lalafell, and forcing her to cuddle.
Krile glances around the clearing, confirming there's no nearby enemies, and drifts asleep in Lizzy’s arms.
