Finally finished my LauraMax drawing - just in time for Valentine's Day! It's been a while since I've been using physical media (water color and colored pencil), which I struggle with considering my mediocre fine motor skills, but hey - it's good to do something with your hands once in a while :) Inspired by one of Arthur Sarnoff's work (which you can find under the cut - I'm sure you cannot blame me for immediately thinking of 50s LauraMax when I first saw it?😉)

A classic blue Ford pickup rumbles up to Laura and her eyebrows rise at the sight of it. It’s in stellar condition, but she knows it has to be several decades old. Something Travis confirms as he calls from the open passenger side window, “Seventy-one.”
Laura says nothing, just climbs into the vehicle and, once the door is shut behind her and she’s firmly buckled in, she asks, “You learn to drive in this thing?”
“I wish. I learned to drive in a station wagon.” Travis fiddles with the stick and the truck leaps to life, pulling away from the abandoned police station with vigor.

I’ve read this fanfic up to chapter 5 and I’m in love with the plot! I haven't read the other chapters yet because I prefer to wait until it's completed to continue. I really want to know how it ends! I hope I'll get to find out one day
