Out of curiosity, when do you plan on doing MitsuKiki Week?

Hi, thanks for checking in! I'll be doing another poll shortly, but I'm thinking either November or December.

So not to be annoying or anything, but I was wondering when the MitsuKiki Week was going to happen, along with the prompts? The most votes said July 3-9, and it's now the 10th, so I wasn't sure if it was on another date or something.

No worries, you're totally not being annoying! I got busy with personal stuff and completely forgot to check on the poll after. I was thinking to do it next week or the week after, but then I found out there's a Mitsukiki Festival going on in August so I think I'll postpone it for a couple of months. I don't want to overwhelm any Mitsukiki shippers by hosting an event so close between 2 Mitsukiki event months.

Sorry to those who were excited to do it! I hope you will participate in the MItsukiki August Festival event instead! <3

MitsuKiki AU August 2022 Event

Hello, everyone! Sorry for the delay in announcing the upcoming MitsuKiki event, but we’ve been kinda busy and have been discussing about which prompts to use for this year’s event. (If enough people enjoy it, we may end up doing this again next year.)

The new event that will be coming up will be the MitsuKiki AU August 2022 event!!! As the name suggests, all of August will be dedicated to AUs for MitsuKiki. Meaning you have all of July to work on these prompts ahead of time. Or, if you don’t want to, then you can do them when the event starts. It’s up to you.

We have created a calendar containing the prompts for this year’s event. Needless to say, it took us awhile to figure out what prompts we wanted to do, since there were so many. We tried to keep as many of them as fluidly flexible as possible in order for you to come at these prompts from whichever direction you wish.

Here are the prompts:

(FYI, the “Civil War” prompt doesn’t have to be the American Civil War, but a Civil War of any nation or any time period. Heck, you could even do a Civil War AU for the canonverse! These prompts are meant to be as flexible as possible.)

This event is open to all kinds of fan-creations: fanfics, fanarts, fan mixes, comics, collages, etc! So don’t worry if you’re not a writer or artist.

Any Ao3-posted content will be in a Ao3 Collection. It’s called MitsuKiki AU August 2022 Collection. The link to it is here. If you need help becoming a member, just let us know via PM and we’ll add you on the members list.

We would suggest that you click the “Get Notifications” button so that you won’t have to worry about missing any future updates, but that’s up to you. If you already do that without the button, then do so.

Also, a reminder that late submissions are allowed up to the end of the year, so please don’t feel stressed if you aren’t able to take part during the event, or if you weren’t able to get all of the prompts done. Go at your own pace!

Also, anyone who completes the entire calendar is free to ask for a MitsuKiki fanfic request via PM. However, this is only OPTIONAL!!! You may choose not to ask for one if you do not wish it.

I know it’s been 4+ years since the last one and I apologize but I was kinda bullied out of this fandom when I was only 14. I just wanted to get your permisssion in case I needed it. I wasn't sure and wanted to play it safe.

I had a lot of fun writing it, and it feels half like a character study of Kiki. You absolutely blew me away with all of your love and with how much you loved that story of mine.) (With a poetry fun fact, I sort of had a bit of Phil Kaye and Sarah Kay in mind a bit as I wrote this, because trying to tame my MitsuKiki shipping mind is insane, and Sarah and Phil have such a sweet friendship that it's absolutely incredible. So, I figured I could try to capture something just as sweet and meaningful as two real life best friends within this little oneshot. Hopefully, I managed it.) (I'm a poet as well as a fiction writer, which is why my absolute love of poetry sometimes comes through.) (Now, I only have a few Prompt Bs left.)
