lately, i’ve been thinking about these choices for months due to personal issues/reasons.
so to rip off the band aid, i am quitting.
i will be providing the whys under the ‘read more’ bar for anyone that is curious.
this does not mean i will be deleting my blog at all or remove any of my table of contents, anything. everything will stay up.

1. LACK OF INTEREST IN KPOP
i feel like this is a common reasoning. people can lose passion or enjoyment when it comes to interests. this isnt a way to discourage any of my readers (not my intent) but rather for me to say that this is a common occurrence for me.

short backstory:
i liked bts & bp when i was 10-11 years old, what happened? i found other things i enjoyed.
i got reintroduced to kpop, started liking txt and skz, fandom was going a little too crazy for me (TOO toxic and txt and skx fandoms going against each other) and i felt bored (not involving the drama between skzs and txts fandoms)
found out about svt, love for them grew and now, present day, or what i would rather say, december me was feeing.

i realized when i started losing interest in svt was when i stopped watching their “going svt” series considering it was a comfort zone. it also felt like my connection with them was starting to die down when i focused more on my real life problems. i said kpop because ive lost most of my enjoyment towards it. from watching their performances on video and their interviews to only listen to their songs.
but this doesnt mean this is an end of an era!! i will continue to support my fav groups, just not actively as before.
2. SCHOOL
one of my real life problems included: sophomore slump. which is crazy to say considering im not a junior yet. knowing the position im in right now and what people say about junior year, im going to be burnt out. thinking about this and having early sophomore slump makes me notice how much motivation i’ll lack to continue to write.
3. MOTIVATION (IN GENERAL)
which brings me to my last point. there were times where i thought, “i should post today!” but that today turns into procrastination and soon that post would be posted days or even weeks later, and sometimes never.
ive also been having writers block.
i also had two accounts i wanted to start (one for deco & other for diff groups). originally, i was going to combine svt with diff groups but i wanted to dedicate this account solely to svt. unfortunately, these accounts have never been released, which is a prime example of what im demonstrating.
i didnt want to keep all of you guys waiting so i thought it would be best to finally announce it and get it off my chest before i ended up not doing it.

something's in the air tonight—you come to that conclusion by the way soonyoung's hands keep travelling everywhere they shouldn't.
the two of you are sitting on the couch, both half-paying-attention to a movie neither of you are truly interested in. you're tucked snugly into soonyoung's side, body taut and warm against yours as you play with his splayed fingers.
he's sitting with his legs spread, black sweatpants clinging to him in all the right places. his zip-up hoodie is soft, warm against your skin as his hand slides up and down your bare thigh. soonyoung's face is freshly cleaned from his shower, skin soft and plush as a smirk spreads across his features.
you're wearing nothing but his oversized shirt, the piece of clothing more like a dress that soonyoung wants nothing more than to tear into. he eyes you like you have something of his—walking around with it like an invisible trophy.
"what would you do if i kissed you?" the question is simple, but with the way soonyoung starts kneading your thigh, it suddenly becomes almost impossible to process.
"kissed me?" you echo back, eyes darting between his and his softly smiling lips. "i'd kiss you back. but only if you kissed me first."
soonyoung's chuckle is low, scraping up your spine in the best way as his hand slowly starts to slide higher and higher under your shirt. "hmm...i'm trying to decide whether you deserve it or not. wearing my shirt and looking so pretty without my knowledge is a big step."

the little whine you add to the end of your sentence makes soonyoung want to drag you the bed then and there, but he refrains from doing so, shaking his head as his smile grows.
he leans in, lips centimeters away from yours as he searches your eyes. the television's soft glow filters over your face in the best way possible, casting the shadows in all the right places.
"oh i'm more than happy..." soonyoung shrugs, fingers gently tilting your chin up to him as he closes the distance. your hands find their spot on soonyoung's toned chest quickly, breath hurried as soonyoung takes your breath away with his kisses.
his hands are tight on your hips now, reveling in the way you lean on him as he makes out with you. you're sighing now, body leaning in to his touch as his antsy fingers dance on along your skin.
"lowkey want you to take it off now. the shirt's in the way of what i want." soonyoung's like a child, tugging at the hem of the oversized shirt as you flush. he's shameless in the way he wants you, eyes pleading as he tries to lift the shirt up.
"soonie, stop." you whine out, laughter biting your tone as soonyoung does as you ask, pout overexaggerated on his face as he sulks.
"fine." you can't help but pat his thigh, voice lowering as you lean in, mouth brushing soonyoung's ear.
"if you behave a little longer, the shirt can go."
the look that soonyoung gives you is downright devious, a knowing look spreading across his face as his smirk returns. his brown eyes lock with yours, smug as he leans into the couch, hand lazily and nonchalantly returning to your thigh as he squeezes it once more.
"i'll do my best." the wink he sends your way makes you shiver, and he chuckles, letting the movie finish as he quietly saves his love for you for later.
