some facts about blackwick, the fictional region knight gray is from

located in the frigid north, crops cannot grow, animals are scarce, and the terrain is treacherous. despite this, a group of hardy mountain tribes joined together to form the alliance of fivr, referenced to the 5 sister mountains they live on.

blackwick shares its name with the tallest mountain in the region, a thin but enormous volcano covered in snow save for the very top, which is heated by the subterranean magma so that the dark rocky surface is always free of frost.
