So much of his character and motivation revolves around his anger and violent impulses, his need/want for revenge against a world that completely failed him
His personality is loud, vulgar, impulsive, and downright disrespectful at times for sure
And yet he is also has such a big heart
The way Rudo was racked with immense guilt when he destroyed Gris’s precious object he doubled over and almost started crying and desperately tried to bring even a piece to Gris.
Then the moment he destroyed Bundus's arm (his enemy) was not a moment of triumph but of sadness, he even tries to stop Bundus to get the pieces of his instrument
Rudo feeling bad that Remlin was sad and wanting to cheer them up in anyway because he doesnt want them to feel bad when Zanka wasnt even upset with them
Rudo wanting to bring flowers to Zanka while he was in the hospital but also worrying about not saying the right thing when visiting him

How Rudo wanted to make sure Amo doesn't think he is only her friend because she has information and makes efforts to show that isn't the case
How one of his demands to Kuro was literally “apologize to my friend right now AND MEAN IT, going as far to fully threaten this man until he did so
Despite being angry at Follo, Rudo rushed to his aid and tried to keep his cool and talk things through, even changing his language so that Follo would understand him easier
And even though he was told a group as menacing and scary as The Hell Guard, who reflect the same police at the sphere who strike fear into his heart, could be after him the moment he saw Zanka being taken away he completely revealed himself to protect Zanka
And I do think so much of this is thanks to Zanka being a genuinely good teacher to Rudo, being the aggressive push Rudo needed to stop being in his own head and just start making those connections and start showing the same love people have shown him to others
Y’know (obviously I haven’t read this in it’s original language so I could be wrong on this read) but I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone else use the word “litter” including Tamsy from this point forward (I’ll keep an eye for it on this re read) so I’m wondering if like “Litter” is more a Spherite word like more specially on the posh side and Rudo was genuinely just surprised to hear it on the Ground because to me it’s a very English word. At the same time, Trash and Garbage and Dump would all be American terms so like less posh if that makes sense…. Much to think about??

Riyo is loud and chatty, but her actual presence is deathly quiet. She frequently walks without a sound and breathes in time with ambient noise on reflex. On sleepless nights, most of the cleaners have been jumpscared by her in the kitchen at some point or another. No one can ever see her coming, she just appears
Zanka is a vicious spar buddy. What he lacks in raw power (which he’s not lacking much, mind you), he makes up for in battle iq. He can predict most attacks from conventional weaponry considering he probably has more experience with the weapon than the actual user. He’s always more than willing to offer up ideas for new, unconventional attacks that the other givers can use to improve their fighting styles
Rudo has a deceptively keen eye, trained by his years as a scavenger. Lost your hairbrush? Yeah it’s in the far corner of the back room no one’s been in in days. Can’t find something in your closet? Bring Rudo over and he’ll spot it in five seconds flat. He’s also the first to notice changes in their environment, be it a new decoration in someone’s room or a new piece of clothing added to another cleaner’s wardrobe
All three of them have heightened reflexes, moreso than most of the other cleaners. Riyo and Zanka from needing to be ready for a fight at any time, and Rudo from potentially needing to retreat from an oncoming attack. Someone drops a glass and Zanka snatches it up before it even touches the floor. People try to get payback on Riyo but they simply cannot creep up on her. Rudo can outrun most of his teammates over long distances, unprompted, no matter where he is
