Riyo sneaked into his room and turned off his alarm to let him sleep in and relax. He wakes up frazzled at having overslept and rushes through his morning routine, forgetting which day it is
Everyone tries to do sth nice for Zanka which ends up disrupting his routine or further misinterpreted
He runs up to Semius desk to ask for missions and is dismissed. He takes it as a personal failing and a silent reprimand
Team child acting cutieful - giving him drawings and sharing sweets - makes him think of them cheering him on like this when he was recovering from everything Jabber
He goes to the training grounds where Rudo and Follo tell him to take it easy for today, sit back and watch them spar. In his mind it morphs into sth like 'they both suprassed him and dont need him to provide a hands on experience cuz he doesnt have anything to give as a mentor anymore and they finally figured it out'
Riyo and Enjin are out on a 'secret mission'? It must be that they don't trust him to invite along cuz he's too weak for it and they finally acted on it (when in fact they are picking up a present for him)
Tomme shuns him from a living room (where the party preparation is taking place) and he rationalizes it as weaklings who don't put in work don't deserve rest in the company of others and no one wants to hang out w such a loser anyway
Maybe he tries calling Gris to ask abt everyone's weird behaviour and catches him mid mission. This only makes him think of not being strong enough to go on one himself
Now he's listless and depressed, alone in his room. He works himself into such a spiral that when someone comes to get him to the living room, he's absolutely certain he's getting fired from the cleaners.
Back at kamuatari nijikus only ever gaf abt any birthday to use it as a reason for big wigs gathering at their estate. Aside from ceremonies the day is not special and neither is Zanka, in his own humble opinion
