I'm heavily self aware about the apparent parasociality of some of the things I say on here. It all comes from a place of realistic understanding of what is actually real, with some harmless self indulgence thrown on top.

Byler Offscreen is an 18+ ONLY anticensorship Byler-focused server for fans of Stranger Things and Byler (obviously) to come and hang! There is both a Byler (someone count how many times Byler is said in this post lmfao) and a Foah category to enjoy as well as channels like a mental health chat channel for venting/ranting if you need, channels to share yours and others art and writing including fanworks, and a channel to talk about other characters and fandoms you’re in! While again it is Byler focused, this server has all sorts of different topics come up related to fandom and Stranger Things xx
There are a few basic rules you should know before attempting to join:
• Applications from Discord accounts made within the last 30 days will be automatically rejected. This is due to safety concerns over some of the mods being harassed and cyberstalked in the past. This is non negotiable.
• Another non negotiable is while we are proship and profic FRIENDLY, generally, this server uses the term anticensorship instead because it does not allow the promotion, discussion, or posting of ANY intimate/romantic minor/adult or p3d0ph!l!c content AT ALL. This is a hard boundary and violators are subject to an immediate and irreversible ban. This type of fanwork and material is extremely triggering to many members and mods themselves and we do not want it in the vicinity.
• This server, as stated above, is 18+ ONLY. There is no true ID-verification and it is an honor system. Minors caught in the server will be immediately removed.
• This server is Noah Schnapp and RPF (real person fiction) positive. Members and mods are well aware of past controversy surrounding Noah and as a server, we remain neutral on it. This is not the focus of the server and those seeking to cause trouble and start arguments about should move along, this is not the place for you. Unnecessary drama will result in a ban.
Rules are further elaborated on in the server itself. Upon joining, you MUST make an intro post in the intros channel within 24 hours of joining. This is another safety measure to avoid further online harassment of mods and members. You are not expected to be active 24/7, but an intro in that time frame is a mandatory requirement. Failure to do so will result in removal and you will be asked to apply again.
Rules are common sense stuff for the most part honestly. We are pretty lax on just about everything! Use your head and you’ll be fine, ask questions bravely, and be you, we like you that way 💗
