a smirk succeeded in forming on his plump lips when he noticed he had just hit a nerve of hers upon addressing her with a different pronoun although he was soon embraced with a frown when she seemed to be occupied with another male instead of protesting right away as she often did. with an elbow pressed onto the counter and the palm of his hand turned upward to rest onto his cheek, he tapped the surface with his fingertips, letting her know he was growing impatience and the attention was needed.
a brow raised when the other answered, suspiciously observing her since she didn't have complained over the way he had addressed her; something so foreign when she was easily flustered whenever he teased her mocked her. silently, he waited for the drink while absently examining the bar, taking note of a few clients already intoxicated and with their mind far from the place they were in. his gaze was directed to the drink when she deposited it in from of him; eyes constantly shifting form it to the female before him. "thank... you..." with reluctance, he lifted up the cup and observed the liquid, a habit of his whenever he drank any alcoholic drink. it did look different, yes. it did look too different to be one of his favorite drinks. he shifted his gaze to her, watching her dry the few glasses still damp from the dishwasher. oh, she was testing? well, he was all into the game. bringing the glass to his lips, he took a sip of the liquid; grimacing right away at the intense flavor of orange that mixed with red wine was everything but pleasant. "i'm still waiting for my martini, sir." he stated, continuing sipping on the drink while the smirk returned; letting her know he already knew what was truly happening.
but then, it occurred to him that he hadn't seen her for years and perhaps, because of the way he addressed her, she might have believed he didn't remember her at all. guilty embraced him for a second, a sigh rolled out of his mouth. "and i'm... still waiting for hug." he said so casually, as though those words meant nothing while deep inside he was truly happy that he had been able to see her again. "if i don't get a hug, i will just find a way to find a pencil and throw it at you, sir." memories of the past cuddle up to him, moments in which he was helping her study for an exam or when he was practicing with her some defense positions. "if i can't find a pencil... i will just find something harder to throw at you."
