Every question thrown at him felt like Kibum was taking a bullet to the chest over and over again, but he still refused to let Jonghyun know how affected he was by this. Even he himself could not believe the pain he felt as he was reminded yet again of how he had shot the other. That night… He had no real control. Kibum had let his wild emotions get out of hand and yes, he regretted it. No, he didn’t stop when he turned his back on Jonghyun. No, he didn’t stop when he heard the other shouting his name. No, he hadn’t thought about the other as he was leaving him… Not until much later did he finally feel the weight of what he had done.
Jonghyun was all too close to him once again and he felt a chill run down his spine despite the intense heat he swore he could feel between the two of them. Why did Jonghyun have to keep doing this to him? Why did he keep getting closer and closer while speaking words that were clearly meant to evoke some kind of emotions within him? It wasn’t fair!
But… of course it was fair. Jonghyun had every right to be acting out towards Kibum when the lying murderer had done such horrible things to him before. Kibum didn’t fucking care about being fair, though! He wanted to be selfish again like how he was before he… before he developed feelings for this stupid man. He wanted to continue being selfish and push the other away to go back to living peacefully alone how he had for so many years before. Emotions were too big of a burden for Kibum to carry and he hated it. He downright detested those stupid fucking emotions that kept tugging his heart towards the elder man.
As Jonghyun’s hand came in contact with his skin again, resting on his arm while the other settled upon his clothed waist, Kibum felt as if he had been zapped by an electrical spark and suddenly his heart was lurching in his chest. Jonghyun was right. How dare he lie to the other like he had and fill him with false hope and promises? Kibum was a monster and he felt bad that Jonghyun seemed to love him so deeply that even after discovering part of the truth about who he was, Jonghyun still came back to him, so desperately in love and seeking this physical contact and emotional reassurance. Jonghyun was so stupid…
There were so many words Kibum wanted to say and yet he wasn’t even able to voice any of them in that moment. Not yet, at least. He needed a moment first to collect what he had been wanting for so many weeks and months and what Jonghyun seemed to be wanting as well based on his words and body language. Fuck the argument and the alcohol. That shit could wait to be dealt with. Hell, maybe he should just take advantage of this situation. Jonghyun knows how that Kibum is a murderer and assumes everything they had before was a lie, and yet he still came back… still in love. Kibum could so easily keep Jonghyun now since clearly the real Kibum wasn’t enough to keep him away for good.
Rather than indulging in another heated argument with the man, Kibum opted to just give him what he wanted in that very moment. The thing that Jonghyun claimed they both needed. He pulled the elder’s thumb away from his mouth and leaned forward to press his lips against the other’s, softly at first before becoming a bit rougher. The taste of alcohol on Jonghyun’s mouth disgusted him, but he would be kind enough to ignore it for now. Kibum’s hands reached up to cup the other’s face firmly as he deepened the kiss. He didn’t try to dominate it for once, instead just opting to press all of his pent up desire against the other’s plush lips that molded so perfectly with his own like they were meant to be.
Yes, he could certainly feel himself destressing already. Jonghyun was right, he did need this. He needed this so bad. He just couldn’t forget the punishment the other deserved after this. With a soft moan into the elder’s mouth, Kibum carefully backed up, guiding Jonghyun with him without breaking the kiss until he felt the wall of his living room against his back. One hand moved to drape his arm over Jonghyun’s shoulder while the other continued to carefully hold the other’s face.
“Jonghyun...” he murmured quietly against said man’s lips, wanting to say more, but not having any words to currently voice.
