It was also a reason he watched the movies on a daily with her and tolerated the many items she choose to collect. “I told Nick I would treat him to a trip to Miami soon to see the Dolphins in action. I guess we could swing by Orlando.” He paused to kiss her one last time. “My only condition is that you have to hit up a gig with me soon. I think State Champs have a concert in Chicago later this month.”

“You say weeks, well weeks is like years. That’s forever, Colby!” There’s a playful pout on her lips as if she needed help to convince him to take her. How could anybody be upset about being at Disney? It was the happiest place on earth after all! She hums and listens to her boyfriend, nodding quickly. “Yes, we should swing by Orlando, ya know to see if things changed. See what’s new.” Lexi couldn’t help but smile into the kiss, simply because she could honestly get lost kissing this man. “Okay, deal. I’ll even buy the concert tickets.”

The fact that he was older now meant that the amount of Wrestlemanias he got to participate in grew shorter and shorter. He could see himself one day working behind the scenes for the company, but that would be nothing compared to have the thousands of lights shine on you, and hearing the roar of thousands of fans erupt as you made your way to the ring. It was truly an surreal feeling. When Lydia mentioned school he lost his train of thought for a moment, forcing a slight smile on his face. “Of course. Wouldn’t miss it for the world.” He replied. “Afterwards we can take a long vacation just the two of us. Anywhere you wanna go,” he added as he pulled her in for a close embrace.

Being able to watch Colby perform was something that Lydia loved to do, she loved seeing how happy he was doing something he loved. Better yet, the fact that Lydia had known Colby pretty much their whole life and knew that he would be something special and she’d been right. She saw that forced smile and gave him a light nudge. “What’s on your mind, Colby?” Lydia asks softly, leaning against him for a moment. “I’m so game for a vacation, though. I’ll get back to you as to where because honestly, I’ve not thought of where I’d wanna take a vacation in so long.” Lydia noses his jaw in affection before giving a soft kiss, arms wrapping around her boyfriend’s shoulders.

“Hey, good looking.” A playful smirk plastered against his features as he leaned in to return the kiss she gave him. As he pulled away he couldn’t help but notice the attire Lexi was wearing, not surprised to see she was already out of her ring gear. “Ready to get out of here?” He asked before grabbing his own hoodie to place on, as well as his rolling suit case.

There’s a smile given against his lips, an arm going around his waist for just a moment. Lexi does pout though when he pulls away, only because she doesn’t like not touching him. Nodding a few times and humming for a moment. “Hell yeah I’m ready. Pretty sure my pajamas are calling my name.” She teased, giving him a playful nudge along with a wink. “I love watching your matches though so after my match, I hurried up and took a quick shower already.” Mainly because she wanted to get into comfortable clothes already. “Ya know where I haven’t been in like...forever?” Lex hummed, pouting at her boyfriend. “Disney.”

Over the course of his career, Colby had injury after injury, each time somehow coming out of the situation stronger than before and in his mind this time would be no different. He was still waiting for confirmation from his doctor, but until that happened he would do every step necessary to make sure he came out of this situation surgery free. “Doc said he would give me a call tomorrow. I’m hoping it’s just a sprain.” He replied, pausing to take in Lydia’s reaction to his words. “Don’t worry, babe. I will be fine. How far is the Uber?” He asked in an effort to change the subject.

Getting hurt was part of the risk of Colby’s job, she knew that. But that didn’t take her worry away each time she thought he might be hurt. Lydia knows that he doesn’t want to miss anything and especially to miss another Wrestlemainia. Of course Lyds would help him any way she could though because Colby was her person. “Let’s hope it’s just a sprain or a stinger.” The strawberry blonde whispered. Lydia gives him a look because no matter what, she’d be worried. “Bout three minutes away, babe. Food will be there soon after we are.” Lydia already finished her schoolwork for the week so she’d be free from that. “I finish with school in almost two months. You’re gonna come to graduation...right?”

Lydia had heard the talk, whispers that Colby might of gotten an injury during his match. Of course she worried about him, she always would, always did when he’d go out there. Lydia waits in his dressing room, fingers tapping on her leg as the nerves get the best of her for a few moments. The strawberry blonde couldn’t wait any longer, instead she starts making her way to the medical area. Bottom lip between teeth, she sees the trainer packing up and gives a look to Colby. “What’s the damage?” She asks softly, chewing on the inside of her cheek and taking a few more steps closer to the other. “I got us an Ubar in case you can’t drive.”

Backstage was busy, per normal. People leaving, talking and other odd and end things. Her bags already packed and in the car. Alexis already had food set to be delivered for half an hour after they get to their hotel. She’s got her hair up in a messy bun, waiting for Colby. Black leather skinny pants on with her black craft shirt on and leather jacket as well. Humming, Lex makes her way into Colby’s dressing room, tilting her head before sitting in one of the chairs.
