Anxiety tells me that I never do or say the right thing and that I upset everyone around me. Depression tells me that I am not and never will be enough, that I shouldn’t bother getting out of bed because I ruin everything anyways. Anorexia tells me that I am not beautiful enough, that I take up too much space. And though I know that they are wrong, it takes all of my energy to quiet them, to overcome them.
