A little ghost, happy autumn is back !
I can't wait for the aliens to come and save us!
One of the testimonies that can be seen in the exhibition Fier-es à Tout Âge, at the Hôtel de Métropole de Lyon (France) until the end of the month, in collaboration with the @centrelgbtilyon and @femmesicietailleurs! For this occasion, we have selected around ten testimonies from among the several dozen that we received. I'm really happy they thought of me for this exhibition! I've been illustrating comics based on real life experiences for years in my spare time for the web, so it's great to see that it's leading me to this kind of project! I also have an exhibition for Pride Month at 25-Gisèle Halimi until the end of the month in Clermont-Ferrand with some illustrated testimonies! My grandmother, who passed away at the beginning of the year, continues to contribute to my exhibitions with her reaction to my coming out. ♥ #bravoleslesbiennes
Today's International Day against queerphobias ! The fascism of the world shows us that discrimination is on the rise and our rights are on the decline, so the fight is more than necessary!!
I've been wanting to illustrate our Vercingetorix statue with his queer flag for a really long time! When my city offered me the chance to exhibit in June for Pride month at the Halimi Center, it finally gave me the opportunity!
(hope my city support to queer people won't change as queerphobias are on the rise in France as well)
TW : Transphobia
With the gradual loss of our rights as trans people around the world, I keep thinking about this story I read two years ago on Reddit. It could have been me or several of my friends. When will this stop? When will we finally be able to imagine a future where we can exist in peace? When will people stop finding it justified when we are attacked? When will people start addressing the real problems in the world?
The explosion of trans hatred is quite crazy, and it is getting more and more hard for the people concerned when none of our current problems are due to a trans person. Sort of like the hate for the hijab in France, it makes people forget the real problems. But behind it, we have real people suffering.
