I’m reading to much into Stardew valley characters that probably jsut wasn’t that well developed… like Gus

Everyone has all these cute or humanizing little details around their room that you get to peek at when you befriend them :c All Gus has to interact with is his tv, wich is defaulted to the cooking channel. And a half empty mug of beer :c and he’s never not in the saloon. And when you’re good enough friend with him he asks you to help him deal with a custommer who he’s affraid will be mad with him if he asks him to pay her tab :c

is he just sitting alone all night drinking beer and watching cooking shows, sleeps in the morning and then works the saloon from lunch to closing time? Every day, besides festivals? :c Man… Gus, come over to the farm, have some coffe, talk with me man.
