Tourists are causing a lot of anxiety and are costing money  to a tiny village where signs keep disappearing. What do the signs read? “Welcome to Fucking, Austria.” Pronounced “fooking,” the little hamlet of Fucking is named after the man who founded the village in the 6th century. His name? Focko. The town sign has been stolen seven times in the last few months. With signs costing several hundred dollars apiece, much of the tiny town’s budget is being spent replacing the signs, says Siegfried Hoeppel, the Mayor of Fucking. Cap and Gills of what I have compared closest to Psilocybe Semilanceata (Liberty Cap). Studies have found this species to contain a range of .2-2.37% psilocybin, < .2% psilocin, and up to .36% baeocystin, making this one of the most potent species of psychedelic mushrooms. Gills are adnexed, narrow, and close-crowded with a brown-purple brown color with age from spores with edges that remain pale. Caps are brown and gelatinous when moist turning light tan-yellow and crispy as it dries. This cap is striated-undulated and has a more broadly umbonate shape than most, which are usually conic-obtusely conic to acutely umbonate. The stems range from 40-100mm, this one had a 44mm stem before removing for spore printing.
