I wanted to draw something to show support for BLM, and it was an easy decision for me to draw Miles. The quote is from Stan Lee, written over 50 years ago in 1968, and it’s still (sadly) just as relevant today.

Rocky coastline near Nanakuli, O'ahu;  oil on canvas, 2’ x 4’.  This outcropping is an old reef exposed when ocean levels fell geological ages ago.  There are big caves under almost all these formations.  in the distance is the coastline of Waianae, an enclave of surviving Hawaiian population and culture on a beautiful island swallowed up by modernization.
