Concept

This project will let the audience experience overwhelming in the form of video. In the video, the characters experience emotional overwhelming because of the accumulation of a lot of stress (Good Therapy, 2019). The character became distracted, far away from friends and family, and even changed his view of the world. The process of confrontation between roles and emotional suppression will allow the audience to take on the role and experience the same feelings as the role. When the character view escapes the negative emotions, due to the immersive experience, the audience feels the same emotions while also becoming interested in what happens later.

Tetsuya Ishida's paintings are basically satirizing society. About my project

This project will be presented as a video and will give the audience a feeling of overwhelming. For the audience, a stronger sense of immersion will lead to stronger emotions (Visch, VT, Tan, ES and Molenaar, D., 2010). In the video, there will be some clips based on reality shooting, and the video will also add some Realistic sound effects, such as heartbeats and gasping sounds, enhance the audience's immersive experience. The effect of light, similar to the contrast between light and dark and the contrast between cold and warm light will also be shown in the video. In addition, I will also adjust the speed of time to better reflect the changes in emotions. For example, when expressing tension, I use slow motion to amplify the tension, so that the audience can experience overwhelming emotions.

Especially in movies and music works, the overwhelming feeling will make the audience expect the follow-up content, thus inspiring the audience to focus on the work.

The Silent Lamb

This video comes from the movie "The Silent Lamb". In this clip, Hannibal breaks out of prison and knocks down the guards to let the audience experience the overwhelming feeling.
