It was a late dark night, a few days before michael's birthday! you thought you could celebrate a little early right? well, no. the weather had other plans. while michael was out partying with his friends (not drinking), you were sitting on your couch suffering because you were alone and it was raining :(
you never liked rain, because you had bad experience with it. boom! a few minutes later, it started thundering.. bad. REALLY bad. you tried everything to get rid of the sound like turning the tv full volume, or putting on headphones to clear it up. guess what? NOTHING WORKED! so now you were really suffering, and you had no one with you..
you decided to just call your boyfriend to come over.. but you were scared that he would yell at you for being scared. but michael isn't like that, ever.
you got up off the couch and dialed his number on the phone with trembling hands but managed to call him.
"hello?" was the only word coming from the phone right now.
"yeah.. hello is this michael or his friend?"
"its michael baby whats wrong?" you released a shaky breath you didn't even know was there.
"I didnt mean to bother you.. but can you please come over im scared..."
he replied carefully, "mama you never bother me, you know that. wait on the couch and I'll be there in about 10, can you do that for me love?"
"okay.. ill try but I need you to hurry up its getting worse-" you accidentally dropped the phone when a huge strike of thunder shook the house..
"oh sh!t it's really bad out there.." michael said, hearing the thunder through the phone and from the window.
you picked up the phone carefully and made sure it was still intact when suddenly..
you stood there with a blank expression on your face.. why did he hang up? maybe he was coming over? maybe he wasn't? was a girl calling him? you had to stop overthinking.
you were suffering in silence, even crying a bit beacuse you were so scared and then a knock on your door came. you sat there for a moment, and finally got up. when you opened the door, you saw michael.
"mama im so sorry for hanging up my friends stole the phone and hung up I swear it wasn't my fault don't get mad at me please-"
he was just straight up rambling so you put your finger over his mouth and he shut up.
"sorry.. got carried away i thought you were mad at me.." he said in a shaky voice.
"its fine.. just-" you were interrupted with a loud boom that rumbled through the house again..
you continued shaking a bit, but you got your sentence out. "just come sit down with me I don't wanna be alone anymore.."
"so you want me to live with you?" michael replied smiling.
"oh hush you play too much." you replied smiling a bit too !
you and michael were both on the couch, cuddling and watching bambi :)
"look at bambi he's so cute!! you and him have the same eyes, michael."
your fighting session ended when a loud, horrendous, big boom of thunder came from outside, and you got scared and tensed up, your smile and all the color draining from your face.
"michael.." you whispered in a shaky breath.
"shhh.. calm down love i am here with you don't panic."
you tried not to panic, but you couldn't help it and a small whimper came out of your mouth as you cuddled closer to him. he was warm, like a safety blanket.. wonder why?
"michael why are you so warm.. what were you doing at that party?"
"I didn't do anything. before you say anything there were heaters there and I was hella cold so I sat near one." he replied carefully, giving you time to process.
"baby, I know you better than anyone. I know when you think im cheating and I'm not."
you replied back, "I guess.."
more thunder had came, and it was now late. michael was asleep but you still couldn't fall asleep even with the tv on and in michael's arms. you wanted to tap him awake, but you also didn't want to disturb him.
he stirred a little bit but didn't wake up. so you tried again !
"michael wake up i can't sleep.."
he finally woke up when you kept tapping him.
"whats wrong..." he said sleepily
"I cant sleep and I think I need you to fall asleep first.."
"we can do that but I need you to fall asleep okay?.."
you nodded, and he moved you closer to him for you to fall asleep with some warmth.
you both were finally sound asleep, and the thunder had softened for the rest of the night, and when you both woke up, there was still rain and no thunder.
"thank you for keeping me company.. I don't think I would've slept without you."
"I will always come when you need me, even if I'm in the studio working."
you smiled a bit, and for the rest of the day, he stayed by your side.
