“I can help and still be with them! Lulu can sit on my head and Roger can keep my feet warm and I can help and we’ll make stuff together!” Pouting a little he whispered loudly so the cats wouldn’t hear, “You should hog me more; you’re the best to cuddle.” It was funny–before Lulu and Roger, Hasik had always thought he was a dog person since he was a giant puppy himself. Really Hasik just loved all animals, but there was a special place in his heart for his cat children and no animal or human would ever be able to compete for it. He stole a kiss from her, nuzzling back against her neck. “I won’t crush you I’m a gentleman.”
“There’d be cat hair in the food; she is not sitting on your head!” She could deal with fur all over her clothes and furniture, but the one place she refused to have it was her food. Honestly, she’d tried cooking with letting Roger sit on her shoulder when he was a kitten; it was a bad idea. “They’re gonna hear you,” she mumbled back. If you’d asked Naeun before she started dating Hasik, she wouldn’t have cared if anyone she was interested in liked her cats, but now it was important that they weren’t just cats. They were cat babies and they loved him just about as much as she did. “You won’t do it on purpose.” She kissed his nose and went back to cooking, not bothering to make him move. “You might do it accidentally, though.”
