4.46 am i need to take this out of my chest
Since I was a little girl I’ve always been told I was “chubby” and growing up that became more an insult than just a way to describe my body. People used to enhance how I was physically bigger than them and I started seeing myself the same way the saw me. I started hiding my body afraid to be called “fat” again, from my parents, from relatives, from friends, from everyone. I became a person that says no to a weekend at the seaside with friends just not to have to show her body. Now it may seem like an excuse to justify “my unhealthy-ness” but I do really think I became actually fat just because I started seeing myself that way and because food was and still is that friend that will never call me with mean words like the one previously mentioned. I now look at picture from when I was 14 or something and I remember feeling so uncomfortable in a body that, looking back at it, was actually thinner that my friends’ ones. And that sucks because I could have been a better being, with a better life, physically, socially and psycologically … But I’m not because mean words took me down. I’m not proud of myself, and tbh the only thing I really want is feeling for once in a lifetime comfortable in my own body no matter what size I am…. Why does it seems like one of those crazy wishes that will never become reality?
And maybe a happy ending doesn't include a guy, maybe... it's you, on your own, picking up the pieces and starting over, freeing yourself up for something better in the future. Maybe the happy ending is... just... moving on. Or maybe the happy ending is this, knowing after all the unreturned phone calls, broken-hearts, through the blunders and misread signals, through all the pain and embarrassment you never gave up hope.

And kid, you’ve got to love yourself. You’ve got wake up at four in the morning, brew black coffee, and stare at the birds drowning in the darkness of the dawn. You’ve got to sit next to the man at the train station who’s reading your favorite book and start a conversation. You’ve got to come home after a bad day and burn your skin from a shower. Then you’ve got to wash all your sheets until they smell of lemon detergent you bought for four dollars at the local grocery store. You’ve got to stop taking everything so goddam personally. You are not the moon kissing the black sky. You’ve got to compliment someones crooked brows at an art fair and tell them that their eyes remind you of green swimming pools in mid July. You’ve got to stop letting yourself get upset about things that won’t matter in two years. Sleep in on Saturday mornings and wake yourself up early on Sunday. You’ve got to stop worrying about what you’re going to tell her when she finds out. You’ve got to stop over thinking why he stopped caring about you over six months ago. You’ve got to stop asking everyone for their opinions. Fuck it. Love yourself, kiddo. You’ve got to love yourself.

Growing up I always thought I wanted to be treated like a princess. But now I realize that I’d prefer to be treated like a dragon.
Left alone in my cave (room), hoarding all the valuables (food and wifi) that I want while roaring (yelling) at anyone who tries to approach my domain.

TV show idea:
Baby boomers have to switch life situations with a millennial for a year. The millennial gets to live in their house (which they paid off like thirty or forty years ago) and work at their job that provides a good salary and benefits. The baby boomer has to live in the millennial’s shitty, overpriced apartment and struggle to pay rent and work a minimum wage part-time job as well as an unpaid internship in their (the baby boomer’s) field.
The show can be called Switching Cribs and every time the baby boomer throws a tantrum a little cartoon of a baby crying appears in the corner of the screen.
… …
Fund it.
With what money
I’m a millennial
Meditation is a surrender. it is not a demand. It is not forcing existence your way. It is relaxing into the way existence wants you to be. It is a let-go.

But a broken heart is an open heart. Every heartbreak is an opportunity for love and compassion to flow through you.

Meditation is not passive sitting in silence. It is sitting in awareness, free from distraction, and realizing the clear understanding that arises from concentration.
