Elvis is not a good person.

None of Elvis’ songs are original. All that Elvis did was speed up the tempo and use his singing voice, then call it a day. Yes, he credited the original creators, but he never actually gave them any sort of spotlight.

Elvis was a pervert, a degenerate one at that. He had teenage girls in their underwear around him CONSTANTLY, he groomed Priscilla into marrying him when she was of legal age, he was then manipulative and had multiple affairs.

Oh yeah, and little known fact: ELVIS POINTED A GUN AT HIS OWN FAMILY MEMBERS. He used a loaded, lethal weapon to intimidate his family members because they rode some of his motorbikes.

Just because he inspired legendary musicians doesn’t mean he’s a good person people!!!

What is gained from defending a white guy who stole music from a marginalised group, and a p3d0!!!! Absolutely deplorable!!!!!!!

Some history of First Avenue music venue!

First Avenue was originally a Greyhound bus station, opening in 1937.

The building was later transformed into a nightclub and music venue, which became a significant cultural landmark in Minneapolis.

The venue is famously associated with Prince, who got his start there and even had a star painted on the outside wall! First Avenue is known for its stars painted on the outside wall, honoring various artists who have performed there. After Prince passed away, First Avenue painted his star gold and hosted a fitting tribute.

The venue has hosted numerous memorable performances, including Rammstein, Doomtree, OK Go, and many others. and remains one of the most well loved music venues in Minnesota history.

Is there lore/a show for Sanrio characters or do people just buy the merch because they’re cute?

I just mean Sanrio stuff in general, the merch is HUGE with this stuff and I see everyone have it but I feel like I’m missing out on something, are all these people with this merch a fan a show they’re from or something or know the lore behind them?

I only ask because I’ve seen so many cute things that I’ve held back from buying because I have no idea what it’s from so I don’t wanna be a fake fan, especially if someone asks me what it’s from haha cause I’d have no idea what to tell them!

Apparently being cute mascots with merchandise are the characters' primary function. There's plenty of media about Sanrio characters, such as shows and games, but these are all made to promote the merchandise, typically after the characters have already been around. Some Sanrio franchises are more media-focused than others though, such as Show By Rock!!, which centered around a mobile game. The majority of characters though, like Hello Kitty, My Melody, etc, are merchandise first and foremost.

My favorite animal: The Orchid Mantis!

Orchid mantises are known for their remarkable mimicry of flowers, which helps them attract prey and hide from predators. The orchid mantis is the only species we know of that doesn't just hide in flowers and ambush predators, but pretends to be a flower by itself.

These insects can change their color to match the flowers they inhabit, enhancing their camouflage. furthermore, they are are ambush predators that attract insects by mimicking flowers and then capture them!

Natively, they are found in the tropical forests of Southeast Asia, particularly in Indonesia.

Orchid mantises are featured in the popular video game Animal Crossing as well! In Animal Crossing, the character Blathers has a funny aversion to insects, including the orchid mantis.

JUSTICE FOR CELESTE RIVAS

D4vd went on Amazon and purchased a couple of chainsaws after he stabbed Celeste Rivas and stood by while she bled out ... They claim D4vd made the purchases under the fake name "Victoria Mendez."

According to new docs filed by prosecutors, investigators claim the singer stabbed Rivas to death at his Hollywood Hills home on April 23, 2025 after ordering an Uber to bring the 14-year-old all the way from her family's home in Lake Elsinore, CA

The star allegedly placed Rivas' body into the blue inflatable pool to prevent her blood from spilling all over the garage floor. Prosecutors say he then used the chainsaw and possibly other tools to dismember her.

When will this brutal violence against women and children end? d4vd can rot.

How in the world is something like WiFi possible?

Essentially, WiFi uses radio waves to transmit data wirelessly. Think of it as an invisible, fast-blinking lamp. "Radio waves using a fixed standard to transmit data in a way that can be understood by the receiver. It gets more complicated but thats the gist. It's just encoded radio waves.” These radio waves are a form of electromagnetic radiation, similar to light but at a frequency that humans cannot see.

The router translates the physical internet connection (fiber optic or coaxial cable) into invisible radio waves and "shouts" them to your devices.

Networking is often explained in layers, from the physical layer (radio waves) to the application layer (web browsing)

Thank god for WiFi so I can use my WiFi powered internet to look up what WiFi is.

Let’s talk about “Looksmaxxing…”

What exactly is Looksmaxxing? Looksmaxxing is a term believed to have originated from incel communities, which are groups of men who feel entitled to romantic relationships but struggle to attract women, often blaming their appearance. The movement claims that maximizing physical attractiveness is the key to personal success and social benefits.

Clavicular is the most famous/infamous figure of this movement for several reasons. He has gone to very extreme lengths to alter his appearance including steroid use, stimulant (meth) use, laser hair removal on his face, and most infamously, hitting his face with a hammer aka bone smashing to cause small fractures that are aimed to give him a more contoured jaw. He started this efforts around only 14? And is only 20 as of right now?

This is absolutely ridiculous.

What in the world are jellyfish?!?!

Jelly Fish defy everything we know about science. I have no professional experience to make that claim. I just think they are freaks of nature and rude. Lol

A jelly fish stung me once. I never forgave them as a species.

Their stingers are like microscopic barbs that are set to a pressure mechanism. Like mini harpoons is how I think of them. When a pressure signal is relayed to it, the barb shoots out and stings you, so that jellyfish probably didn’t even mean it!

The difference between Joan Jett and Courtney Love?

Jett became well known in the 1980s due to I Love Rock and Roll and a few other hits. She was mainly a radio star. We didn’t know much about her private life at the time. She just rocked out, and her music appealed to the general public. Courtney first became known in the early 1990s mainly for her interviews and outlandish behavior on MTV. She was Kurt’s girlfriend. The general public didn’t know much about her music. It didn’t have mass appeal. Later in the 90s, as the memory of Kurt’s suicide faded and Courtney toned down her antics, she had a couple of songs that were minor hits.

These things are all according to my memory & of course not historical facts. Just my take on the situation. Joan rocked out & kept her private life to herself. People thought Courtney was weird, & her punk music didn’t appeal to the masses. Completely different stratospheres. While someone like Madonna was controversial, Courtney was just messy as hell.
