‘Joy’s resume 2025’ open on the computer but it is 2026. Matt is the male descendant, so of course he has the picture-perfect life I get to watch from the sidelines. I ran my fingers through my hair and the press on nails managed to rip out a nice little chunklet of 4 or 5 golden strands. What a refreshing start to the day. I hope for all of our sakes that you sense sarcasm. The honest truth is I have no idea what to do with my second go. I flubbed the first go, carelessly messing up what could have been. Gods love for you is insurmountable, inescapable, and infinite, but so is His judgement.

We must also learn to fear God as well as love Him, as one would their parent (He is our Father after all).

Fearing God does not mean to be afraid of Him. Rather, it means to harbor a healthy respect for God, living a life reflecting His character, values, and will. It’s to have an awe of God, recognizing His immense sacrifice on the cross and living your love for Him as a response.

We don’t to be afraid of God, but we must fear Him. We must know our place before Him and living accordingly, for by doing so we will enter into eternal life.

Begin to ask yourself, “does this glorify God? Is what I’m about to do give glory to the Lord, or reflect His will for my life in anyway?” And if not, then you know what you have to do.

Heaven and hell are the stakes here, so let’s try living like it
