Having an Easy Access Bath Installed will provide many Benefits
I recall going to the hospital as a child to visit my mother and needing to go to the bathroom. In the bathroom I remember seeing red handles and cords as well as other novelty things such as bars near the facilities. I know now that these are a necessary part of providing easy access baths and easy access showers for those with mobility problems.
As you get older you will find that there are certain things which are just not as easy to do as when you are younger and although this is not a pleasant realisation, it makes sense to deal with it as soon as you can. A lot of people refuse to face the fact that they are ageing and will do anything to deny what they secretly know but refuse to face. On the other hand there are people who like to face the truth and prepare accordingly.
These are the ones who decide to install things such as an easy access shower or an easy access bath long before they actually need it, or at least as soon as they feel that they may need one. It is a personal decision as to which type of equipment you wish to go for as some people enjoy having a shower more than a bath or vice versa. Many opt for both and it all depends on your budget and your requirements as to whether you for easy access baths or easy access showers, or a combination.
For my money I have always found that there are many benefits to having a long soak in the tub, especially after a particularly gruelling day, or a stressful week. A shower is fine for a quick refreshing pick me up in the morning but a bath can leave you feeling relaxed and ready for a good sleep. In just half an hour you can relax your muscles, calm your mind, detoxify, moisturize, stimulate circulation and clear your lymph system!
Make your bath hot enough to induce a sweat. The process of perspiration removes toxins from the body. You may even notice that a regular bath routine reduces perspiration odour so you have less of a need for deodorants to control body odour. The heat of the water also kills many strains of bacteria and viruses decreasing the number of colds and infections you may get throughout the year.
Also add oils to moisturize and shed dead skin cells. Natural oils, such as coconut oil or olive oil, help to moisturize your skin and prevent future dryness. The use of a loofa or sea sponge will remove dead skin cells to improve the appearance of radiant glowing skin without harsh chemicals. A regular hot bath with a good dermal scrubbing will put an end to dry, flaky skin and the itchiness they cause. These are the benefits of a bath and can still be enjoyed later by installing an easy access bath in your home, or you can opt for an easy access shower if you prefer.
