Ok. Hear me out. Riddler and Scarecrow, but gems. Jonathan is a citrine, a former homeworld scientist. He left homeworld after he openly challenged his diamond about destroying organic life, which put him in grave danger of being shattered. His weapon is his signature scythe. He’s part of a ragtag group of rogue gems who have escaped to earth. Edward is an aventurine, who left homeworld due to his hatred of the oppressive regime. His diamond is insistent on retrieving him, since he’s one of the best intelligence agents homeworld has ever seen. His gem was cracked by a jasper bounty hunter. Consequently, he can’t summon his weapon and simply uses a cane. He’s also a member of the rogue gems.
