Nightcrawler's sacrifice is so bittersweet. On the one hand, I am so heartbroken over losing him because he is my favourite character, but on another, it was so beautiful and the ultimate act of love between two adoptive siblings.

Out of all the X-Men, Kurt knew better than anyone just how heartbroken Rogue was over losing Remy in Season 1 and how it completely destroyed her. Rogue has lived with pain, heartbreak, guilt and regret ever since the day he died. She lost her spark, she lost her other half, but most of all... she lost the biggest piece of her heart.

Kurt wanted his sister to be happy and when she finally got the chance to save Remy for good, but at the cost of her own life, he couldn't stand for it. It's unfair how in an effort to save the love of your life, most of the time, you have to sacrifice your own life in the process. Kurt couldn't let that happen to Rogue.

He couldn't let her die just after she finally got Remy back! She deserved to spend the rest of her life with her soulmate by her side and there's no way, Remy could live without Rogue either. Nightcrawler always knew since day 1, Rogue and Remy were meant to be together. He wasn't going to stand by and watch this couple suffer endless heartbreak so he made the ultimate sacrifice for the sake of his sister's happiness.

Rest in Peace, Nightcrawler aka Kurt Wagner. You were an underrated and amazing character of X-Men and you will be missed!!!! 😭😭😭

Kurt Wagner, you have my whole heart! He didn't sacrifice himself to save the world or defeat the bad guy. He did it because he loves his sister. He loves her so much and he just wants her to be happy. He has so much love in his heart and he just wants to keep his family safe 🥹

Kissing Kurt Wagner for the very first time, and you just cannot suppress this sudden desire to explore. His mouth is mere inches away from your face — a patient, gorgeous thing the color of ripe plum, full with softness yet daring at the sharp edges. Molded for quiet prayers and unruly passion alike. It's so close you can taste his breath and smell the hint of morning toothpaste not quite washed away by saliva. Saliva that glistens on the pink inside of his lips, on his swift tongue, on the smooth pearl of his canines...

It's an intrusive urge — to touch them. To lift his dark upper lip — this veil that taunts more than it tries to hide — just a tiny bit, just enough to bare them. To trace along one tooth from the thin sharpened point to the very border where it sits thick in his gum. Would he let you? And if so, would his breath hitch in his throat? Would his tongue curl, chasing after your finger for a quick taste? Would spit pool against the back of his teeth as you gently force his jaw wider to peek into his warm mouth?..

You have ached to kiss him. Day and night, date after date, you've worn this want like a fever on your skin. Yet now, when he is all yours for the taking, you halt. On Kurt's chin, in the crease underneath his lip, lingers a little shadow: it curves and stretches whenever he speaks and right now it twists into a plump crescent.

"Is there something stuck between my teeth?". The rustle of his voice brushes your lips, and you swallow. Look up, into his smoldering gaze, then down again, where the peaks of his canines are so strikingly white against the darkness of him.

"Go on, Süße, go for it. Whatever it is you desire so, you can go for it."

And so you do. Your thumb kisses his mouth first, pressed firmly against his lower lip. The tender swell of it shifts underneath your touch as you trace it, and purple blooms almost black; you pull it back to reveal the wet pink within and when you let go, it snaps back with the softest pop. His breath spills hot and thick from the cavity of his mouth, swirling down your hand.

Lightly your nail scrapes his teeth, and his tongue lies caught underneath the pad of your finger, spit squelching, clinging to your skin, and you let it. It's fascinating — just how quickly it builds, flooding the floor of his mouth, all while his unmoving half-lidded eyes watch each new discovery paint your face with heat. You can't stop yourself from dipping your thumb there, into the slick softness hidden beneath his tongue, and it comes out drenched up to the knuckle, gleaming in the dimmed light.

With greed simmering hot in your belly, you watch Kurt's throat squeeze around a swallow when you press your saliva-dripping finger between your lips. Kissing him at last.
