She raised her arm up towards the car as though she would hit the car or person if they were there in front of her that instant. “Aigoo, they should really be careful,” she said aloud, watching as the car sped away. With her facial expression softened, Haerin moved her gaze back to fall upon the male once the car was out of sight. “Aniyo, it’s okay. I’m just glad that I stopped you on time.” She smiles softly at him and then bows her head slightly. She could tell that he was shaken up by what just happened. “That was scary… Are you okay?” She looks at him with concern clearly visible on her face. She reached her hand out to him for a second, doing it out of habit. Whenever someone close to her was upset or sad, she usually would pat them on the back to try to calm them down. But this time, she paused and was not sure what to do. She didn’t want to end up startling him by her action.

"i'm fine, really, just shaken." it had been brief, but his body had felt the need to react -- an extension of survival. it started in his spine, a quiet static that fell and split into branched that leafed their way to the edges of his fingers, pressed against the boundaries. they both numbed and excited, placed minkyu in a shell of shock that slowed time; gave him space; an outline of what he could do. even his heart, still racing, pounding against its ribbed case, was only a distant murmur, soft thuds that seemed to rise like balloons to rest in his throat. here, the sound would fade, become another mindless sensory detail. "i-i feel weird -- i think i'm scared or something." in the midst of the stormy adrenaline, he still fought for clarity, undid words from his throat. "i should go sit; i'm kind of dizzy. probably an overreaction."

I passed my first milestone recently, and I couldn’t be any happier! Coming from someone who’s been roleplaying on Tumblr for quite a few years, I’ve always struggled with getting any of my OCs popular in the roleplay community. I haven’t been in the KRP community for very long, but I’m really glad I joined. I’ve met so many nice people, it’s amazing ! I’m really glad that so many people seem to take a liking to Koemi. I haven’t been able to interact with everyone, but I honestly really want to sometime !!

Relationship Headcanons: always accepting!

It is mostly due to the fact Minkyu is the older of the two who is also the more wiser and the more wealthy, but no matter what Taehyun does or says, he can’t win against the detective. It’s always a constant exchange of playful banter whenever they’re together, where Minkyu usually ends up the victor. Normally, such defeats would wound Taehyun’s pride as he is normally a competitive individual, but he has learned underneath the indifferent exterior, the elder is actually caring and watches over Taehyun, something that Taehyun rarely ever voices his thanks, but a feeling that’s true even though he doesn’t express it.

just the sight of sanghyun is enough to flood him with relief and a warm wash of joy as the present reconciles with the past – the months apart thin, become only a fracture. the feelings from before, that sense of closeness, forged by the years, comes rushing forward to settle in his quickened heart, his curved smile.

he can’t help the way he holds on to his arm as if, for a moment, he were to let go, sanghyun would disappear into the world again, a slow retreat that would bring another set of months strung together by emptiness.

and in this heightened awareness, minkyu notices a shift in sanghyun’s behavior. he can’t pinpoint it, recognizes first as a quake in the mood, a certain tremble that he catches as the seconds pile on their shoulders. six months is a long time, enough of a space to harbor change, so he looks to him with rounded, curios eyes, his voice heavy with urging as he speaks.

“what happened? you promised you’d explain, hyung. tell me. i was sick worried.”
