人们常说从眼睛里可以看到灵魂，然而嘴角才会透露我们的真实感情。有些人把嘴遮住来隐藏情感，你却捕捉嘴巴的所有细小瞬间。在做这本书的过程中你从你的拍摄对象那学到了些什么吗？

为了看见事物和发出信息，人们地眼珠会有意识地、有规律地转动。

在某种程度上来说，嘴巴的运动是无意识的。不管是否带有装饰，没有人在一天中会有意识地想他们地嘴如何动。再来说，嘴是暴露在外的，像一个手术伤疤一样，一部分口腔可以被看见，另一些部分不能被看见——一个人类身体的神秘而独立的器官。

人们吃东西的时候会暂时忘记嘴巴的样子。嘴巴一张一合，食物被塞进，半开半合的状态显得毫无防备，甚至有一些脆弱。人们的嘴巴不再愤怒渴望，而是用食物满足自己本身。

为了阐释这一整个系列的动作，紧闭的嘴和一动不动的脸颊代表绝对冷酷；相反，夸张地张开和撅起的嘴唇传达一种主动的、使击败的错觉。相比 “buh_bye” 而言，“mouth_hole”中有更多特写镜头，并且带有虚构色彩。

你是怎样捕捉这些移动的拍摄对象的？

为了保护自己我会在一定距离之外拍摄。我所做的只是按下“录影”按钮。我用一个小型数码相机拍摄录像，之后把这些影像传输到我的iphone里并把图切成适合Instagram的正方形。通常来说我和拍摄对象隔着大约10米距离。我最常使用的是一个600mm – 12mm的变焦镜头。

“mouth hole” 是你在“buh___bye”之后通过手机摄影渠道发布的第二个摄影书项目。社交网站平台和手机相机是如何帮助你的？

人们常常希望寻找或是试图创造最理想或最完美的照片。Instagram平台最棒的地方就是你无法准确定义所谓的正常与不正常。更进一步说，网络平台上的所有东西都可以被存档，所有人都可以轻易获取, 摄影艺术可以被传输到各式各样的人群，不管他们对摄影是否真的有兴趣。当作品概念已经不是最重要的时候，这些图像只是简单地向人们展示说“他们就在这儿。这就是我的照片们”，摄影的目的由此被诠释。就像小孩子一边在墙上用彩色铅笔乱画一边喊着“bah bah”。
