April 30, 2017 - May 6, 2017
**So I’ve been feeling nostalgic and it may have something to do with the recent discovery of my iPod from middle school. So I put it on shuffle and these are the first ten songs that it played. Thought it would be fun to share** 1. I Hate Everything About You - Three Days Grace: The original song that you sent your ex (aka your bf/gf that lasted a week in middle school) and now this is the song that I’ll listen to if I am just really mad. And sometimes you just need to scream a song and this is the PERFECT one. 2. Last Resort - Papa Roach: I still listen to this song a lot. It's on my anti social playlist. "Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine" was basically my anthem for my childhood. I just wanted someone to tell me I was fine and nothing was wrong with me. Another one of those songs that you can just scream to. 3. All The Same - Sick Puppies: Haha, oh god. This song has some good memories for me. I remember when I got dumped and I just listened to this song for a good five days straight. All of this was of course after I refused to listen to this band when someone originally told me about them because of their name. Why would you want puppies to be sick? That's all I could think. 4. Miss Murder - AFI: I forgot how dope this song truly is! Like I'm just going to casually listen to this way too much for the next few weeks and not regret it at all. Enjoy it with me! 5. Teenagers - My Chemical Romance: Oh my gosh. I use to just think this song was super catchy but now I'm *dare I say* old...er than I was when I first heard this song. But I totally agree with it now. Teenagers scare me and fun fact I'm only 22, so not long ago I was a teenager. 6. Dirty Little Secret - The All American Rejects: This use to be my morning ritual song. Like I had to listen to this song while getting read. (Yeah I know I was lame, stop judging) Might make this a thing again because this song will get you going. 7. Still Waiting - Sum41: I mean, this song gets you hype. So hype that I can't write and listen to it but then I have to replay it to get my thoughts to write but then I'm screaming the lyrics and working my air guitar. 🤷🏻♀️ 8. All That I've Got - The Used: I've been seeing a lot of memories on Facebook of statuses I made way back when and funny thing is I posted the lyrics to this song for like four days straight. I guess I really enjoyed the lyrics that they had to be shared. "I'll be just fine, pretending I'm not" and I mean this is me to a fucking tee. 9. All The Small Things - Blink 182: Bands with numbers in the name are the coolest. Plus, the drums and guitar in this are fucking killer. Then it's like an anthem that you can just sing along to and just not give a fuck 10. The Kids Aren't Alright - The Offspring: Pretty sure I can sing any of their songs by heart but this one was classic. I listen to this song while I'm at the gym so it's still a weekly listen.
If you’ve never listened to your favorite song full blast in complete darkness with your eyes closed you’re missing out bro
Taking a break this week due to emotional stress! Hope y'all understand!
