Whew.. That was an eventful week, that's for sure!
While I didn't end up finishing, I got to try so many new things!
In my eyes, that's a win.
(Seriously, it's been YEARS since I've made a full on comic page before. And backgrounds alongside concept art?? I feel like a whole new artist!)

I would also like to note that the way I depict ships is very, very subtle-- to the point that I'm not even sure if this even counts as SonEXE?
I wasn't able to finish the drawings that would make it a bit more obvious. Apologies!

The concept above was inspired from this post, by vrucrowave.
Saw the post, and my brain subconsciously went "whatifxwasdarkgaia-"
There was no turning back.. I severely misjudged how much work this would be. Hence my inability to finish this entire thing, haha!
(Though, please note that this isn't a wholly original idea of mine, as mentioned above. I take no credit for it! I just took an already cool idea and put my own twist on it, that's all.)

Genuinely would love to learn more about vrucrowave's Dark X! As of making this post, there seems to be something special in the works..

*EDIT: I have been made aware that there is indeed a wiki page for Dark X on the Continued-exe wiki.
(Absolutely adore the characterization! My heart though... at least kiss the brick before you throw it straight into the feels!?)
There's also the FNF Mod: Perfidy that includes 'em as well.

This post was all over the place. Partially due to the fact that I don't post daily, so everything has to be contained in one post.. And I added links to so many things.
Really grateful for these prompts, honestly! I now have another concept for my brain to chew on when I'm bored.
Blood, sweat, and tears went into this.. and I'm still not done. Perhaps I will lurk for the time being. Maybe work more on Theia's lore, who knows?
