I feel like it would have made much more sense if Aj had been Christa's baby, rather than Rebecca's. I think it would have given players a much stronger connection right away, considering how the personalities and motivations of the s2 cast were poorly handled honestly. It just felt like to me they scrapped the idea of bringing a baby into the story, only to turn right around and change their minds. Just always found it odd that they got rid of Christa's baby, but then introduce the idea again.

Honestly I agree that it would have been a more compelling story.

Especially since:

1) It creates a nice continuation of Lee asking Christa (and Omid) to look after Clem, and then Clem looking after Christa’s kid.

2) Makes even more sense for Kenny to become incredibly attached to AJ and take full responsibility of him over the other members of the cabin group (who Rebecca was actually close to). Especially later in the season where it seems that Kenny is very much “me, Clem and AJ” prioritized - since all 3 of them have ties to S1 in a sense.

3) Adds more weight to Christa’s disappearance and gives the players more time to connect with AJ (and have a reason to care about him which many people didn’t in S2).

It even makes the S2 Clem and AJ relationship more dynamic as well since it would mean that Clem was personally responsible for AJ’s dad/Omid dying and she obviously has guilt over it.

It might have fucked up the river scene as well as the dog scene if a baby was involved, but I imagine things after that point could have adapted for AJ. Like for example, Rebecca could still be pregnant and the cabin group could have taken AJ while Clem was locked in the shed.

Can y’all stop foreshadowing Clem’s death?

I don’t understand James being so against killing when he was part of the Whisperers, which was easily the most violent group in TWD history.

I let Dorian slice off Violet’s pinky cuz I was worried AJ would get sliced if I let him stop her. :(

I also let AJ kill Lilly. Since Lilly’s determinant, she’ll die either way. (My guess is from the explosion.)

I think it would have been much more interesting if Sophie was alive and part of the raiders. That way, Sophie and Minnie would have to go against one another to help Clementine and co..

I don’t think killing will change AJ the way James thinks it will. I think AJ’s stronger than that.

Is there a part in episode two where you can interact with Rosie? At the end of the episode for me, it said that Rosie felt unappreciated or something because of me. :(

I really hope Telltale uses this season’s story line as a chance to bring Christa back. She could be part of Lilly’s group, she could be part of the northern group Lilly is at war with, she could have been part of the Whisperers, etc.. There are endless possibilities and I know for a fact that many fans want to see Christa return, as do I. It’s been seven years in TWDG since we’ve seen her last, and we’d all love to see her again. I especially want to see how she looks now, since times have changed so much in the game, and I’d love to see how she looks with these graphics. (Season four’s graphics are my favorite by far.)
