ETA: Hi humans! I am alright, just busy with DOG and small labbit. Human is busy too. She started new type of turd polishing job recently (this is what she said, I think the turds are still figurative.) Hat is from fundraiser at a basset hound picnic, although I did not go myself since there was a danger of becoming smelly, then having a BATH. Anyway. I am alive. Thanks!
The teeny (vegetarian) tamal is for me~
Minipies lunch with old friends.
Thanks human jydiw for coming out.
Sometimes bad things happen in life (human- and labbit- and everyone-), but good friends remind me to smile and keep on. It's a gift that I could meet so many labbits and humans who are kind, thoughtful, and working hard to make the world better.
Thank you, friends, for making me a lucky labbit!

In memory of Terry Bike
July 2012-Feb 2015
Thieves stole most of our bike last weekend. We are sad and cannot sleep right now. So, we remember and celebrate good memories with our bike.
Bike took us to work many mornings. It was sometimes not easy for ACE to get out of bed and go to lab. Waking her up got easier after we got bike, and it was pleasant to have the quiet time before lab those mornings.
At night, bike kept us safe after all the buses had gone to sleep. A few nights, we were lucky to meet some animals while riding. Once we saw an owl swoop down and catch a mouse. Another time we almost ran into a coyote.
Bike taught us that cities are not so big and scary. We learned that some trips we thought were far away in a car were really only a few miles, 20-30 minutes away by bicycle. Los Angeles got smaller. We came across many things we wouldn’t have explored otherwise - river paths and parks, cheese shops in unexpected places, roadside memorials, attacking ducks, and destination tacos.
With bike, we spent happy times with a few good friends. We ate very many blueberry donuts with unglyproductions and exercised with sassyyama and sometimes soundpressurelevel. Through bicycle advocacy, we also met and rode with humans we would not normally meet in scienceland. We felt grateful that we could have friendly conversations and help new riders feel more confident. We felt joy to have meaningful work.
A few times we used bike to carry things such as a pie, or tree. Humans were sometimes surprised. We enjoyed the surprise.
Lastly, bike made us feel healthy and strong.
Here is the end of our memories, for now…I think finally, it can be time for sleep and a new day.
We are thinking about donating remaining parts to local Bike Co-op. We hope she could have a good second life, and it would help new human to have a good life as well.
Thank you for everything, bike. We were lucky to have you for the time that we did.

It’s Fred-day! It’s Fred-day! It’s Saturday but it’s Fred-day, the kind of day where ACE and I load up our Fred chariot, hop our butts into the Fred-butt hammock, and turtle our way east into the land of speedy spandex. Today's Fredly mission was to share bicycle riding feeling and concern with field representative of local councilhuman. We looked at places where safety could be improved, such as roads where cars zoom into bike lanes, parked cars push cyclists into fast traffic, and areas around train stations and schools that don't have safe bike access. It was a good conversation and we were lucky to be joined by some young humans, too.
Last month ACE and I met local bike brogger to plan out the route. We were stopped at a light at a large intersection, and just as the light turned green, some young-ish spandexed humans came up and yelled, COME ON FREDS HAWHAW", which is how I learned about being Fred. It was quite rude. But, sometimes humans act out when their balls get so big that they get stuck in their saddle cutout. As you can expect, it's a painful and tragic condition that may cause them to be mean to others.
But! The good news is that this is preventable and not all spandexed humans have this condition. Today we met a few of them who said "HIHI" instead of "HAWHAW" and some of them had nice moustaches too. And the truth is that this condition can happen to anyone, even ladies and when you are driving a car (car should not have a cutout unless something is wrong). Luckily, the key to prevention is to be positive and considerate, and to remember that all humans and animal life has value no matter how they are transporting, what they are wearing, or how fast or slow they are going.

Yesterday I posted a picture of my friend DOG and realized that he is new to brog. So hi everyone, please to meet my friend DOG. He’s a dog.
You may wonder how it is that a labbit and dog can be friends. It's easy. We have similar interests and RESPECT.
DOG is nearly as old as humans, having lived with SPLEE when he was a puppy. After awhile he was kidnapped by a mom and taken to a school for 20+ years, but just this past year he escaped and made it back home. The upside of this kidnapping is that he is really good at 4th grade.
Just a few days after ACE made a resolution to have no more than one labbit or rabbit in the house, a small labbit was brought into our house.
We couldn’t turn labbit away, especially after seeing that he(?) had been trapped in a box with a hole for butt-poking. There are some times that humans really bother me. :(
Labbit does not say very much (I am not sure of name or gender, if any). SPLEE and I argue a lot about whether it is a baby or just a small labbit. I guess that time will tell, and hope that labbit will speak more when it feels more comfortable.
Anyway, DOG, labbit, and I had a prison-crushing ceremony and someday we will also crush all the butt-poking humans please, nobody should be poked in the butt without their permission. It is just plain rude and can be dangerous.
Please be nice to labbits, please speak up when you see labbit abuse. Thank you.

Good morning! It is warm and sunny in Hawaii, and today I had semi-annual BATH which even included a drying cycle in the large salad spinner. If anyone needs me, I'll just be hanging out here and thinking about how to kill human in sleep.
Did you know? Knitting with the magic loop technique is a great way to make holiday gifts for your smaller labbit friends.
I’m size 7”. Thanks.
Ride marshal MOMO reporting for duty! Pasadena CSC, we are ready to take humans down to South LA #Ciclavia!
Humans, please remember to follow traffic rules, ride safely, and be respectful to everyone! Please let me know if you need an assistance. I am the caboose and no-one will be left behind.
Rolling out! Thank you, please enjoy your open streets event and remember to support bicycling and walking in daily life~
P.S. You can see that sticker from ellyblue has been put to good use.
