While the shapes of these House Dagoth thingies and these Ashlander (or at least Urshilaku) burial tomb thingies aren't 100% the same, they're close enough that it makes me wonder if there's a connection.
My speculation: we do see the Dagoth triple-barred crosses on actual tombs as well as hanging around some of their bases, and the Urshilaku double-barred crosses aren't found in modern House Dunmer tombs (only skulls on spikes and whatnot), so maybe they both come from an older or regional burial tradition or ancestor worship ritual. Then after House Dagoth reawakened, its members co-opted their version for their new rituals, and corprus meat was hung on them instead of skulls. Perhaps they represent mourning the "tribe unmourned" in some way?
im with The Bug,,,, again,, made a custom face for them yeah its thats serious

Morrowind Modding Legacy - A History of Competition and Creativity
Every Mod - Every Modder - Every Competition - One Website
Since 2015, thousands of mods by hundreds of modders have been released as part of the Morrowind Modding Community's trifecta of major modding competitions - the Morrowind Modathon, the Morrowind Modjams, and Morrowind Modding Madness.
These events have brought forth some of the biggest mods of the last 12 years, mods that cover every category, adding countless new features, new adventures, new graphics and gameplay elements and more besides! Practically every major mod list for Morrowind features mods that were first released as part of the Modathon, Madness, or the Modjams.
But while the results of these competitions are routinely individually published on platforms like Reddit, no centralized archive of them has ever been kept or maintained. Until now.
Introducing Morrowind Legacy, the new home of Morrowind's Modding Competitions, courtesy of Melchior Dahrk!
Every mod, every modder, every achievement badge unlocked, every championship won, every award given, every trophy claimed, every glorious season of gladiatorial creativity over the last 12 years, can now be found on a single platform!
View the Modathon Legacy page, in either Day or Night mode, explore the archives of submissions by year, or else search by category. See the championship winners by the years, and witness the evolution of achievement badges with a complete archive of all 700+ achievement designs from past Modathons.
Read about the histories of the Modathons, from their origins in the community's darkest days, to their present role in the community's golden tomorrows!
See every modder that has ever taken part in the competitions, and if you've ever participated yourself, you have a profile! Each modder profile features their list of achievement unlocks, their rarest finds, their most popular modding categories, and a full list of their submissions.
And for the mod authors, you can download your modder card, featuring the number of Modathons participated in, your total achievement unlocks, your Madness score, and your Modder Title - a hero's title based on the type of mods you've released and the achievements you've unlocked! Download them for your own records, or else embed them on your Nexus Mods profiles!
Hop over to the Hall of Heroes on Morrowind Modding Madness! View the themes, the challenges, the decrees of our Patron Saint of Modding, our Lord Sheogorath! See the teams that have vied for the throne of Madness over the years, their offerings of tribute to the Mad God, their triumphs and their glories!
Check out the modder profiles, see their team histories, their highest ranking position, and their most frequent partner pairings!
And if you've ever participated in Morrowind Modding Madness before, use your profile to download your Certificate of Madness, your decree of creative insanity by Lord Sheogorath himself, and display it proudly for all to see!
Stop by the trophy cabinets of the Modjammers, with a complete record of every seasonal Morrowind Modjam since 2020! See the submissions, the themes, the places won, and the awards given!
Explore the entries from each of the 9 hosted Modjams so far, and keep an eye on the clock, for the next Modjam starts on August 22nd! See the rules and FAQ for how to participate!
Create your own Modjam postcards in the Postcard Editor! Upload your screenshots, select a theme, Summer or Winter, add some text, and then stamp it and download it for your own archives!
And for those modders that have already joined a Modjam, you again have a profile, complete with your trophies and awards, your submissions, and your downloadable ModJam Passport, each stamp featuring a competition participated in, your pass to modding fame!
On each page, you'll find links to video showcases, as well as location pins for mods that overhaul vanilla locations - clicking them will take you to the TES3 Mod Map, where you can see what areas those mods impact. This is still a work-in-progress feature, currently only covering the mods from Darkelfguy's List of Dungeon and Location Overhauls, but we're planning to expand it to cover more mods with integrated wiki features in the future!
For those unfamiliar with Morrowind modding or the community at large, there's also a new resources page, an archive of community links, utilities, tutorials, and frameworks (for both OpenMW and MWSE), that provide an excellent starting point for learning how to make your own mods!
The next modding events are the Morrowind 2026 Summer Modjam on August 22nd-23rd, and Morrowind Modding Madness Season X, starting October 1st with team registration opening on September 1st! All future results, all new modders who take part in the competitions, will all be posted to the new Morrowind Modding Legacy Website!

Maybe I'm lost (again).
(I'm back with my psyop in order to convince someone to try traditional art again).
Man I miss ESO though, for all its many, many flaws. I have been following the boycott as best I can considering Microsoft is required by my job and God only knows I cannot appeal to HCA and now also the layoffs. But I do miss it. I essentially lost my account in a nasty breakup in college and never really went back.

So I've actually started keeping my mod lists in various spreadsheets so I can keep track of what I have installed and any installation notes. I don't consider my lists like, groundbreaking or anything but if people did want to see them I could post them? What I can say is that they work lol

Feeling emboldened by modding FNV and getting it running so:
Suggestions for a basic Morrowind mod build (or iyk me, mods you think I'd like?)
It does depend if you want to go OpenMW or vanilla engine. I havn't used OpenMw, there seems to be lots of good stuff over there, so definitely check it out.
This is a pretty good guide for a low mod list for vanilla engine, walks you through a lot of the weirdness of the old game. But you want Tamriel Rebuilt. You will like Tamriel Rebuilt. It has many if not all the things you like about the series. Go ahead and get Project Cyrodill and Skyrim Home of the Nords too. And Tomb of the Snow Prince, which is an overhaul for Solstheim.
I suggest playing TR with some sort of alternate fast travel mod since vanilla Morrrowind does not have a true fast travel system, and TR is large. I personally use Multi Mark and Magicka Expanded's teleport spells, again I don't use openMW, I'm sure they have their solutions.
And if you do go vanilla engine, consider taking My Son Gizmo with you.
