My visual novel, World Cell: Chronicles of the Orovahn, is now in production! It will be an 18+ narrative-driven fantasy VN with ADV segments.
There is no release date for the game yet. It'll get done when it's done, but I will be progressively working towards a demo!
To reach this point with any project has been a huge milestone for me, and World Cell has been a project of the purest passion from me, one that I haven't felt in literal ages. I can't guarantee I'll share frequent updates, but I'll share some on occasion!!

For a few years now, I've been working on a JSRF fanfic on and off. Concept came in 2012-2013, I revisited the concept and began the fic proper in 2022, stopped and wrote more in 2023, and took a hiatus until now, where I decided to be more serious with it as a passion project.
In short, the fanfic's a retelling of JSRF'S story, but with the whack-ass added concept of supernatural elements, monsters based on negative human emotions, soul weapons, and stuff like that. Think JSRF meets shit like...idk, Bleach or Persona, but not actually using the same concepts as either. The supernatural stuff came from another story I made in high school, but anyway, that's beside the point.
I haven't released it because at the time, I had like next to no confidence in myself, but the current plan is to finish my big arc (the Poison Jam arc), and slowly release what all I've got while I write more. Of course there's the mild fear that I'll chicken out, but I gotta push thru that XD I want people to see it dammit, and above all, I want to write a fic 18/19-year-old me would go crazy for.
So here's the actual question: I plan on releasing it onto AO3, but should I also release it onto tumblr as well? (obviously under read-mores.) The plan of presentation is writing with "screenshots" interspersed in the chapters itself, and I think that might be something I can do on tumblr.

At first I was unsure, but now that it's been a long time, I'm pretty excited for what it could bring! Given how JSR was a love letter to 90s street culture, and Future for the 2000s, I hope JSR3 shows the best of modern street culture! I'm actually pretty intrigued with the artstyle too, and the movement does look more fun!
As for ideas on what Tab/Corn and Slate/Soda would look like....oh man, that's an interesting thought. Those two had more a more cartoonish look to them, especially Soda, so I'm wondering how they'll be incorporated in a more realistic style?? It's possible! Perhaps JSR3 Soda may look closer to his original concept art , but as for Corn....given the designs we've seen so far are more references to their OG selves (at least in the colors), we could probably safely assume he'd have a more mechanic-ish design like OG Tab!
Caved in and made me a JSR OC (though they're more intended for JSRF).
Meet Chops! They go by they/them pronouns and they'd probably be a Standard type or Quick-1 type character. Unsure! What I wouldn't give to have a mod with them in it in JSRF,,, (and in BRC too)
Quick disclaimer, if you like any of the ships that I don't like/kinda iffy with/just made them as friends, that's totally fine! I'm a bit of a multishipper with the JSRF cast, so if you write a good dynamic, I'll eat that shit up....except for my one NOTP, I'm just not comfortable with it xD
Some dynamics under the cut. A lot of these are based on my in-progress fanfic, but others are just based on pure vibes. I might not also touch up on all of them cuz...look at this, I'll be here forever, but you're more than welcome to ask about em if you want!
Well first things first: Popcorn (Corn x Soda). My obsession, I'm so sick for them, their ship gives me both sweet diabetes and crippling angsty pain in equal measure. My fanfic is just a disguise to write out their entire love story. Corn is the leader who doesn't make his pains known, Soda is the quiet, awkward, but secretly kind-hearted guy who ALSO doesn't make his pains known, and boy does he have a lot of it (if the giant burn scar on his arm isn't obvious). When they open up to each other, Corn actually relaxes around Soda, and in turn, Soda is a lot more expressive around Corn (not to mention he's just an oversized teddy bear...). I could write a 30 page essay on them, but I'd rather spend that energy working on the fanfic so I can release it to the wild. I also have OC versions of the two of them in World Cell, along with an OC version of Gum, cuz those three are my favorite.
RhythYo...what's not to like about it? It's a fucking cute pairing! Quirky energetic girl and a Very Pathetic guy?? My version of them: Yoyo and Rhyth find themselves incompetent, but they don't find each other incompetent at all. They just...hype each other up, and help each other get better. It's just...UGH!!! THEY'RE SO CUTE I LOVE THEM!!!
Gum x Jazz x Boogie: I love Gum x Jazz, and I love Gum x Boogie. So what did I do? Mash the pretty ladies into a poly! Gum is spunky and energetic, Jazz is chill as hell but can kick ass when it matters, and Boogie is very suave and level-headed. It's a recent dynamic I'm exploring, but it's one I'm excited to explore.
Corn and Gum are brother and sister, what more can I say? Corn's the older brother and Gum's the younger sister!
CornBeat....I have mad respect for that ship because it was the first mlm ship that opened my mind to LGBT ships in general, and ultimately led to me accepting that I was bi. I was far more obsessed with it when I was an 18 year old fresh out of high school, but even tho it's not the ship rotating in my head constantly, I will always be grateful for it, and will happily enjoy any art of it that comes my way! Plus, what's not to like about rivals to lovers?
Corn x Yoyo...I'm sorry to the fans for it out there, but that's the one definitive NOTP I got xD. I always saw Corn nearing his mid 20s and Yoyo at 18, so to me, the ship is like...an adult with a still-maturing adult that just got out of his teen years. And even without the ages, it's a leader/mentor x noob/student, and to me that's just....no...I'm completely content with them being friends and having a sort of brotherly bond with each other.
Drew a couple of Tabs to celebrate the fact that I finally played and completed the OG JSR \o/
I do have this idea that in Future (specifically my still-in-progress JSRF fanfic), Tab was Corn's original name when he first became a Rudie. I like making some references to the OG uwu
