Did you get an agent before you had illustrated any childrens books? I was under the impression you had to have already done some for the agent to choose you, or can a newbie apply to get an agent?

Hi! I did not have any published works before I approached an agency. I sent a few illustrations to the agency through email and they took me on based on those. I was definitely a newbie! Good luck!
