Hey, so I finally finished a game! Sort of. Finished it enough to have a playable version at least. The game is called Sir Pail, and it’s basically a pacman clone mixed with Spelunky. If that sounds like fun to you, click the link below to download the game.

INSANITY JAM 3 STARTS IN ONE WEEK

So for those of you who have been following me for more than three months, you will know that I am one of the two main people behind Insanity Jam (With Alamantus doing the real work), a game jam where you make a game based on a randomly generated game description.

I want to cordially invite everyone who makes indie games, regardless of skill level, to join in with our game jam. The game idea generator makes the jam a very fun, non-serious environment to explore what really makes a game a game.

I've noticed that I tend to use primarily warm / bright colors in my pictures, so this time I tried to make something a bit cooler. Also, I tried to go far a mario galaxy style outline for Mew. I really like how this one turned out. : D

This time i tried to emulate the style of sumiyoshi kizuki. I love her use of color, but I don't think I captured her charm. Either way, it was really fun to do.

Hey monnotonnouspixels I know you’re keeping your prices low to try to make more sales, but you need to be charging a LOT MORE than $17-$27 per page.  You’re charging $12 for a full color character with a background, but charging only a little more than half of that for a comic which may, based on your examples, are comprised of at least four different full color characters with backgrounds.

Take a look at your Pokemon comic.  Each panel there is worth at least $12 if you sell them on your own (should actually be more since it has multiple characters, but I won’t focus on that).  So, if each panel was sold as a commission, that Pokemon comic would cost SEVENTY TWO DOLLARS by your pricing alone.  

You’re selling yourself too short.  Your art is worth a lot more than the price tags on that image.  You’re just setting yourself up to do a lot more work for a single day of meals.

Ok, I totally see what you mean about the prices. But I feel like it would be a little rude to change them now. I'll just keep them as is for this round, and correct them for future commissions.
