a quiet moment 

the first full painting i’ve ever done! i had lots of fun painting this monster, even though i was at the point of quitting several times and i just wanted to scream. i’m very proud of myself for managing to do this and not giving up!

i can’t believe i’m saying this, but looking back at it, i’m really satisfied with how it came out! i had this really awesome brush back when i used sai and i haven’t been able to completely replicate the same soft sketch in CSP yet. 

i’m really happy with her hand!

i’ve been waiting for this day to arrive since the day i realized there was going to be an event and im so excited to start it off!

its time to celebrate the beautiful ladies in the long line of finwe, and what better way to start it off than his two beautiful wives?

im going to dedicate each of my pieces to my most favorite and influential people in the tolkien fandom. this one i call to @em-cu, an amazing artist and the person who first introduced me to the idea that “hey. hey. what if indis was miriel’s lover first and feanor is just fucking shit up because he doesnt know” and god knows we need more wlw ships

i like to think indis was a healer, and often visited the gardens of este in lorien to both help and seek some healing of her own. on one such visit, she found miriel post her re-imbodiment and… this is the moment just before they hug. (or kiss. or both.)

i had so much fun drawing this and participating in this beautiful event, and i cannot wait to upload the rest of my artwork. i’m so excited!
