Back in early May 2015, we visited the USA West Coast on a rail holiday… one of the places we visited was Yosemite National Park. The above photograph was taken during the guided tour of the park, at the viewing point that overlooked the valley.

I was going through some old photos and I stumbled across this one…. we have never been to Dunorlan Park before and I have to say it was beautiful… even on a cold dismal day with dampness in the air. Dunorlan Park is near Tunbridge Wells in Kent and very popular.

I think one of the first trips I did, with my new 70D Canon Camera was to Salomon’s Estate in Kent. It is a beautiful place to walk around, in fact it is a hotel with splendid garden views and two lakes… and you can walk around the woodland and estate even if you are not a guest of the hotel. The estate is set on a hillside… so take my advice if you plan on doing the woodland…
