I drew Ranboo as a figure skater because I can do whatever I want. There’s more of this, but my dumb ass forgot that exporting and saving aren’t the same thing so I have to backtrack a little. It’s cool though, been great pose practice

For anyone wondering, this dog is trying to initiate play. The slow approach is to convey he’s not a threat, everything is loose and relaxed as he makes his approach. He’s staring but avoids making direct eye contact (again saying he’s not going to attack). Bringing toys and bones over means he probably wants to be chased...

It’s totally understandable that someone would see this and think ‘shit, that dogs stalking me’ because it looks VERY similar to stalking behavior...which is the point. Dogs play fight. They play to practice hunting and fighting skills they would need out in the ‘wild’ which is why biting and roughhousing is a NORMAL PART of puppy play.

It’s still important to discourage this sort of behavior from your dog when playing with humans though. Even if you are ok with it they may try this with someone who isn’t and that’s how you get the cops called on you...

When playing with dog friends though, I say have at it. Play is an important part of socialization and can help teach your pup how to be a well adjusted member of dog society!
