Binny sat atop a branch of a dead tree, sulking. Claw marks, likely from him, made crooked lines trailing up the tree.
The cat like being strolled through his territory, taking in the wonderful scent of death and decay the howling breeze carried with it. A quick survey of the land yielded emptiness all around. Perfect~.Â
No, wait. His keen vision picked up something odd a little ways from himself, a dark grey blobbish thing perched atop one of the withered trees. He wasted no time shadow warping over, lowering himself to be eye to eye with the being atop the tree, blank gaze narrowed to slits. It momentarily drifted down to the markings, but quickly fixed itself back on the spirit.
"You! What business do you have here?" he growled lowly.
The grey Spookter said not a word, but looked at Reave. His glasses fixated on the Shakat’s eyes.
He still didn’t say anything, but you one could easily feel the sense of loss emanating from him.
He released a harsh huff of breath, before sniffing, attempting to reconcile the oddly recognized face with his memories. His gleaming eyes locked with the other's. The little spirit looked familiar, but Reave couldn't place it. After a moment it clicked. He was the offspring of the spookter queen, and he has roamed this territory once before.Â
"I will ask you once more," he began, his tone more subdued, "what do you want that you are in this place?"
