Recently had the pleasure of working with @ironboarbookings to produce gig poster artwork for one of my favourite bands @elephant_tree_band I took inspiration for the piece from the lyrics to the spine chilling song Aphotic Blues. The mirrored blue shapes represent lungs, blue with lack of air. The cruel spider spinning a web of capillaries in star like formations over a faint light of a distant dark light behind. Gig is on the 29th June in Bradford Underground. LYRICS Cruel spider, You wove a web for me, Face worn hopeless A faint light to see. Played and weary, cold breath can be seen.
