StarTrek, la Série Animée: M'Ress

Je suis fan de Star Trek depuis mon enfance, et j’ignorai encore à l’époque qu'il y avait eu une série animée qui faisait suite à la série originale (la toute première, avec le Capitaine Kirk), remplissant le rôle des saisons 4 et 5. Ben oui, on nous promettait une mission de 5 ans dans le générique, et la série s’arrêtait à la saison 3. Deux ans de moins !

Honnêtement, cette série animée est tout SAUF de qualité. Les dessins sont relativement moches, les erreurs sont nombreuses: perspectives foirées, ordres des cellos erronés (un arrière plan en avant plan par exemple), séquences réutilisées à l'arrache, erreurs de colorisations (dues à un coloriste daltonien qui avait “oublié” de le préciser).

Mais quelques personnages non humains ont été introduits, dont M'Ress, une caitian (une femme lion), que voici.

C'est Majel Barrett-Roddenberry qui lui a donné sa voix en version originale. Elle a aussi joué d'autres personnages tout au long des différentes séries de Star Trek, tels que Number One (dans le pilote de la sérieà, l'infirmière Christine Chapel (Star Trek: La série Originale), l’ambassadrice Lwaxana Troi (Star Trek: La Nouvelle Génération) ou encore la voix des ordinateurs des vaisseaux de la Fédération des Planètes Unies. (dans pratiquement toutes les séries)
