@montyclifton
Sure, he was supposed to be in a rush to skip town with Roman, but he still wasnât sure what he was supposed to be feeling or what he was supposed to do when he did find Dean, so he took his time to finally settle on the wall beside him. He was tense, but he was trying not to look it. If people saw how bothered he was, then it would only fan the flames. âI doubt many people get a coming out party this impressive.â
"Mine never happened, so you have a one up on me.â Keeping the exchange casual, or rather letting Vaughn lead things for once, Dean offered out the joint and pulled off is blazer. Nerves always had a way of heating him up to an uncomfortably toasty level. âI havenât heard anyone calling for pitchforks, so I think youâre okay.â He said, trying to ease the situation to the best of his ability, which albeit wasnât exactly spotless, but it was genuine. Instead of their usual banter, he took a page out of Emmaâs book and attempted to relate. Keeping a distance between them, he propped a foot up against the wall.
Dean leaned up against one of the side walls and took a few hits of the joint heâd thought ahead to tuck away just in case the moment called for one. However nothing could have planned him for a forced outing, especially one he was involved in. He tried and failed to understand what Vaughn was going through, but he was man enough to know the guy he cared about, more of less in a few ways, was in need of a shoulder.Â

Vaughn: I'm actually with her right now, so.
Vaughn: I can't right now. I need some time to think or something. Sorry.
Dean: Don't you apologize for shit.
Dean: I'm here if you need me, that's all I'm saying. With or without a joint to help clear that mind. Just say the word.

Vaughn: No. I was trying to enjoy my fucking sandwiches.
Dean: You sound just like Emma right now.
Dean: Wanna bounce? I know a place that's great for avoiding shit.
Maybe it was the weed, or maybe he was killing time until Vaughn texted him back, but Bash caught up to Dean, turning him around, âWhat is this about this thing youâre doing, did I do something to you Iâm not remembering. If I did Iâd like to enjoy it if I have to have you buzzing around like a little bitch.âÂ
âClearly you donât pick up on a lot of things, because me leaving should have made it obvious I donât wanna..â Dean bit back his response and instead shoved Bash straight in the chest. âDrop this and go the fuck back to what you were doing, because this little bitch is about to lose his cool.â

Dean: yo, you good?
I wish people thought I was a princess and gave me extras⊠Can you just spit it out already? Youâre being weird, Romanâs texting me like heâs got a fucking hit out on him⊠I just wanted to eat my little sandwiches and have a good time, man.
Emma hated being the one to bring it to his attention, but she knew it would be worse if anyone else made a comment beforehand. Things had to be handled delicately. Sitting on one chair, she patted the other before rationing off the food, her own napkin nearly spilling over from just how much she put away. âSomeone made a blog of sorts where they are targeting certain people, I guess, and um..â Instead of saying it, she handed off her phone. âNone of anything there matters, just remember that. Stupid people will say things that are none of their business to make themselves feel better.â
âThatâs why I said almost.â Bash rolled his eyes, while he turned face to face with Dean, he really didnât see what could possibly appeal to Vaughn about him. Bash would say he didnât feel much of anything these days, but disgust was still alive and kicking apparently. He looked him over as if he were contemplating, then came to a conclusion. âGood effort, but too butch to be believable.âÂ
âAlways with the fallbacks and shortcuts. Have you always been afraid of followthrough or is that part of the package deal with flaking on commitment?â Dean didnât really care about anyones opinion on the matter, his real worry and main reason for concern was Vaughnâs forced outing. âBe thankful I donât care about what you think to prove you wrong, dude. Have fun in the bitter and lonely corner.â He said with a condescending pat to Bashâs shoulder as he moved by.Â
âIf youâre gonna talk to me then you can stop acting like a bad version of a catty little faggot, your insecurity is showing. Iâm almost embarrassed for you.âÂ
âEmbarrassed for someone else? I wasnât aware you had that sort of empathetic capability. Iâm impressed, but Iâll tell you this, call me that again and Iâll crack your face into this here bar.â Dean laughed. âItâs up to you to figure out if Iâm serious or not.â
Okay⊠so itâs bad? Itâs not going to be under a table though, Iâm not a midget like you, I wonât fit.
-- Hush up.Â
That didnât take long, so come on. I spotted two seats in the back, and it isnât so much bad as it is... Itâs going to make you think, I guess? You tell me. Also, the guy at the table said I was a princess so he gave us extras. Score.
Dude, I am so confused right now. But okay, Iâm not gonna say no to squirrelling away some food.
You wonât be soon, and I donât mean to be vague but Iâd rather have comfort stuff ready before.. Take my fun and go find a comfortable spot. Iâll meet you there.Â
Wait, why are we hiding under the tables? Whatâd you do?
I didnât do anything. An anonymous dink head did. You can check my phone if you want, but I vote waiting until after we gather our rations.Â
Huh? Sorry, I was thinking about those tiny sandwiches againâŠ
First, we should get about five a piece and then grab a few drinks. Trust me, youâre gonna need them. Then we can find a table to hide under.
No, not really. Do you I donât know, want something or what do you want?Â
Nah, not really. It was either talking to you or the old man with the knobby knees who thinks heâs a comedian. I traded one laugh for another.
This is totally going to end well..
Lots of people have boners for me, nothing too special.Â
They used to is probably more accurate, right?Â
