We have gotten so far away from what feminine energy really is and I find that this is hurting us in a deep way as a collective and hurting the planet and climate crisis.
Feminine energy isn’t a checklist or an aesthetic. It’s authentic self- expression—and it lives within us all.
When feminine energy is authentic, it naturally flows from anyone who is actually being themselves. but as a woman, the scent of feminine energy likely can be tracked in your voice, in your hips, in your belly, in your thighs, in your mouth, in your buttocks, in your breasts, in your temperament, in your values, in your creativity, in your strength, in your softness, in your movements, in your relaxation, or in your stillness. The moment the feminine becomes a performance to satisfy an external ideal, it stops being feminine and becomes restrictive and anti-feminine.
Being feminine… is being who you are. Because the feminine is not trend-driven or a prescribed set of traits or list of behavior given to you by an online influencer or teacher. That said, the most anti-feminine thing you can do is try to land into someone's else mold or conditioning of the feminine. Trying to fit a mold, whether it’s “soft girl,” “boss babe,” “trad wife,” “cool girl,” "sexy woman", "marriage-material" or any other script, disconnects you from your intuition. And intuition, self-trust, and inner alignment are often at the heart of what people recognize as "feminine energy."
True connection to the feminine allows for:
softness and boundaries
beauty and substance
nurturing and self-respect
individuality and connection
strength and passion
Forcing yourself into someone else’s version of “womanhood” is deeply anti-feminine because it replaces your self-expression with self-erasure and rigidity. Think about it.
It’s not always about becoming more feminine as taught. It’s usually about becoming more of yourself—more loving and accepting of yourself at the deepest levels. Now you can relax and radiantly shine and light up this world, the true nature of the feminine. That radiance is spirit. It’s the reason all human life, all genders, begin as feminine. The feminine births and gives life to all. —India Ame'ye, Author
