“Sure.” Rick set her bags down by the front door and closed it once she had walked inside. “This is the living space,” he gestured towards the room they walked into. Walking into the kitchen, he told her what it was despite how obvious it was before moving to the bathroom and doing the same. Opening his bedroom door, he let he inside and leaned against the door frame. “And this is the bedroom.”
June was already decorating in her head, A book shelf here. A couch there. She followed him into the bedroom when a thought occurred to her. There was only one bed. And he didn’t have a couch or anything else comfortable to sleep on. Maybe she should get a room for the night? She didn’t want to put him out of his bed after all. “it’s nice. it has potential if you wanted to make it seem like someone actually lives here.” she teased him. “Where should I uhm, put my things?”
