Eerie photo of the Yellow Brick Road from an abandoned Wizard of Oz theme park in North Carolina.
Amy Winehouse after hearing she has just won her first Grammy (2008)
Amy will always be my favourite. Such a magical moment.
The Revolver sessions, 1966.
The scene in which all characters sit in a circle on the floor in the library and tell stories about why they were in detention was not scripted. John Hughes told them all to ad-lib.
The Breakfast Club (1985)
This is my favorite hardlet moment, but Grace wasn’t even alive in it. Do you understand how sad that makes me?
My Dad found this while driving and spent twenty minutes chasing it around just to take a picture of it to show me.
I say this world extends way beyond this little field of dreams we’re dancing in, and I wanna see that world.
when feelings are overrated
why do people teach us to be sad? I don't understand how some people come through their lives making someone else feel like crap. Even worse, why are some people that tell us that "life is like this and you have to accept it" ? we'll, you don't. You don't have to keep fighting everyday to be okay, it's not right. It's not right that most people minimize teenager feelings because "it's the age what make them feel that way". That doesn't mean it's not hurt or it's not pain or sadness or desperation. It means that you have to help them. Most teenager experiment this feelings for the first time, some not, but adults should be the ones who need to guide them through, to show them the possibilities of making it better instead of neglect them and made them feel unimportant. It hurts more than it should face your darkness alone. Sometimes you just want to sleep all the time, sleep so you forget, so you don't have to feel and live the reality you Re forced to live. Sometimes you slice a blade through your veins to concentrate the pain in something you can control. To make your physical pain subside the internal one. Some become addicted to something that they think they would make them forget or stop feeling so damn lost. Sometimes you hurt your body in a more expansive way, starving it to death or filling it with food so you have something else to think of. But at the end we are the ones who end up blamed for being "so stupid" or "so irresponsible" but really what should we do? It's impossible to know everything on you own. And have you looked around to see all the sad people near you? Have you ever tried to help the in any way? Sometimes people just need someone to listen. Someone who will drain all that dark mist inside of them. But no ones willing to hear. No ones willing to open their mind and their heart. Because if you haven't really meet real pain until it's there, the ache and emptiness in your chest that you don't know how to get rid of, the despair, the way you feel lost and don't know what to do, the way your minds clouds so quickly and so dense, when it feels like you're breathing under water even tho there's fresh air around you, when you feel like no one really knows you, when you feel like you can't make anyone hear even if you screamed. Pain is like a big whole that can be completely filled. It always have some cracks that hurt from time to time. so sometimes all you have to do is listen to the lonely people and not think they're 'over reacting' or 'looking for attention' or that 'it's just the age' Pain and sadness are real, no matter the cause, no matter the size of it, no matter how it comes. This feelings and emotions are real and shouldn't be over rated.
I still need you
Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame very pretty often hot and fierce but still only light and flickering. As love grows older our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals deep-burning and unquenchable
