We are so happy to announce that after an (admittedly) long wait, Moonlit Eyes is now available for free download! Featuring the work of 9 incredibly talented contributors, this zine is packed full of wonderful pieces that celebrate each and every aspect of Angels of Death that we adore.

Coming to a total of 26 pdf pages, you'll find everything from the missing scenes amidst Episode 0 to the busy floor of the cafe or scare actors roaming the haunted house featured in radio dramas and promo images alike.

Applications are closed!

This post is a tad belated, but the point still stands: applications are officially closed!

From now until the release of the acceptance emails from August 4th-6th, the mods will be formally reviewing all of the applications we received - as opposed to just...getting really excited whenever a new one rolled in. Our enthusiasm is absolutely inexplicable.

Also, we've received some questions regarding the publication of the zine. To that, we felt we should let you know that the mods will be discussing it in addition to reviewing applications. We have pros and cons for each method, though as of right now we're leaning towards a digital exclusive free pdf zine. This may be subject to change, of course! We're just weighing all of our options, specifically in regards to how we feel about handling copyright and money. Applicants, if this changes your opinion/you'd like to drop out because of it, let us know! Just keep in mind that it is subject to change.

As we (possibly) fall into a post-less void for a little while, we'd like to thank everyone who applied for doing so, and everyone else for your continued support! This is a true passion project of ours, and we are so happy that it is finally coming to fruition, all thanks to you!

Final call!

The last chance to submit an application is nearly upon us! Submissions for the form will be closing around 11:59pm, EST on July 28th, so make sure to apply before then.

The mods have been hard at work looking at everything that's come in so far, and we're extremely excited to put this project into motion. We've already received a fair amount of applications, but there's always room for more! After applications close, every submission will be formally reviewed, and emails will be sent out accordingly from August 4th-6th.

Remember, you can apply as both an artist and a writer if it suits you, or just one or the other! We're looking forward to seeing whatever you have to offer, whether it be fanfictions, illustrations, comics, cosplays, character analyses, etc.!

The countdown begins! Applications will be closing in five days!

Have a passion for Angels of Death? Want the chance to work with a group of fellow enthusiasts to put together a compilation of art and writing - whether it be fanfiction, character analyses, paintings, illustrations, cosplays, etc. etc. etc.? Send in your application here!

Our goal is to create a zine chock-full of work from all sorts of fans, with content for everyone to enjoy!

Moderator Introductions!

To celebrate the completion of our website, we figured we'd put together a little introductory post so you can get to know who's working behind the scenes.

(For the sake of not flooding your feed, everything is below the cut, and for the sake of advertisement, please apply to the zine before July 28th! We'd love to see whatever you've got!)

First up: Vik!

In the spirit of it being a little awkward to talk about myself in the third person, I'll forgo the formalities for this post.

I'm Vik - short for Viktor - and I go by he/him. I'm in charge of organizing the zine and running the Tumblr & e-mail, so when it comes to questions, I'm your guy. You can find me on here @hitsuzenhusbands and Ao3 @ douwata. If you scrounge around, I'm sure you can find some of my other accounts in other places, but these are where I'm most active....if one fic every 5 months or so counts as active. And, of course, Danny is my favorite! 👁️

Next: Jade!

Jade - she/he/it - has got to be the biggest Cathy fan out there. That being said, it's only fitting that it was the one to help me put together the discord server and theming for the zine. Her dedication to Angels of Death is most prominent in her textposts here on Tumblr @fawningflattery, not to mention her Rachel (and Cathy, soon!) cosplay on tiktok @ jewifacation.

Last but not least: Sol!

Sol's involvement with Angels of Death is admittedly pretty limited compared to the tirade Jade and I have been on since 2021, but he's still done his fair share of gameplay and manga reading! She uses he/she and is only represented by Zack in the picture above because Shin doesn't have any game sprites. In regards to production, he's taken on the difficult task of proof-reading everything I send out. You can find him on here @solzies, or on Instagram @ giroovs.

Applications are officially open!

From July 18th to July 28th, please consider filling out this form and applying as an artist and/or writer.

Not sure if you qualify? Don't fret - all you need are three pieces of your choosing that exemplify your best work for whatever you're applying for. Other than that, the only other necessary criteria is that you're 13+, as that is the age limit for Discord where most communication will be held.

(Want to apply as an artist and a writer? Feel free! You'll still only need three pieces at minimum, but you should include references of both art and writing.)

We can't wait to see your applications!

We're in business!

We're excited to announce that Moonlit Eyes - An Angels of Death Fanzine will start production very soon!

Within the next week or so, we'll be uploading moderator introductions, a link to our website (that is currently under construction, but we figured we'd get the ball rolling even though it isn't finished), and an FAQ!
