Fake It to Make It || TrisAnna

The praise gave her a bit more confidence as she moved along. While she may not have the best self-image, she couldnât deny that praise had always done her good. And at least that was something that Tristan hadnât forgotten. She stepped forward three times and then moved to the left a little bit, doing her best to lean away. She winced at the knowledge that there was a hot bar anywhere near her that she couldnât see. She just hoped that she was leaning far enough away and that she wouldnât tip over from trying to balance herself without being able to see at all. âMiss? Is this good? Do I need to move anywhere now? What do I do?â Anna questioned, unsure of how far she was supposed to shuffle left, and not wanting to go too far or not far enough.
Tris wasnât sure if it was wishful thinking or not, but she was almost positive that Anna seemed to perk up at the praise. And while it could have been for any reason, she liked to think it was because the praise came from her. And while that might not be quite accurate, the notion gave her a burst of confidence, her own spine straightening in response. âYouâre doing amazing, A. Youâre in the perfect spot. Move forward, but make sure you donât change your position. I know itâs hard, and scary, but youâve got this.â She encouraged from her spot further away than she might have liked. While she didnât doubt Anna, she still didnât like the idea of her being hurt- at least, not like this.
