Tris couldn’t remember a time she was as angry as she was in that moment. No, not angry. She was beyond angry. She was LIVID. She had heard bad things about that dominant before, and the fact that he was even allowed to scene with ANYONE was beyond her. Mentally beating herself for not stepping in, she could barely contain her panic as she banged on Anna’s door. While it might not have been the best approach to the situation, Tris was far from rational, all of the worst possible scenarios rolling around her mind, more and more popping into her mind the longer she waited.
“Anna, please. Open the door, sweetheart.” She called through the door, worry seeping into every pore of her body. Reaching up, she ran her hand along the top of the doorjamb, looking for the key that she assumed would still be stashed there- a habit they both still had left from the Ramirez matriarch. It wasn’t located in a glaringly obvious position, but if you knew what to look for, it was incredibly convenient.
Letting herself into the room, it took her all of two seconds to spot the other girl, and she closed the door behind her gently, before moving to her bedside. Her natural instinct was to reach out, to pull the other girl into her arms and hold her tight, but while they had been rebuilding their relationship, she wasn’t sure how well that would have been received, instead kneeling on the ground beside her. “Annabeth? Please talk to me, babe?”
Hearing the door open, Annabeth let out a slow breath. She knew that Tristan would eventually make her way into the room. Had counted on it actually, but it didn’t make it any easier to know that she would now have to face the Switch. Actually face the failure that she was....to Tristan, the person she wanted to have think that she was a great submissive.
She blinked a few times as Tristan knelt in front of her, wincing slightly. “You didn’t have to come here.” She said, her voice soft as she drew the blankets up under her chin, trying to stop her bottom lip from wobbling. She was embarrassed and in pain and most definitely in a weird mindset, but she didn’t want to put Tristan out. Didn’t want there to be any reason that Tristan might walk away from her again. Not that they were back in a relationship, but she liked having Tristan in her life.
Annabeth startled slightly, realizing that Tristan was here with her and not with whoever she had scened with. “Are you...why...you have someone else you should be with. Why are you not with her? You can’t...you have to go.” Her breathing quickened as she sat up, determined to send Tristan back to her presentation partner. Tristan couldn’t do to that person what had been done to her.
